Making crate for my wood turning lathe, going from design to realisation in this post together with some explaination of design choices and ergonomics.

I completed this project for my friend, who was tuning his car with some cans. The issue was that the pre-made brackets were not quite up to snuff and were loose. While the design itself is easy, the distance was quite a challenge. Therefore, a 3D cloud scan was used to create the design, and someone verified some distances via text messages. The part itself is made of EN AW-5051 aluminium with a brushed and cold anodized (Birchwood aluminium black in case you are wondering).
