On 23 February 2026, we entered into an agreement with Żabka Polska Sp. z o.o. for the generation and sale of electricity from a photovoltaic (PV) installation located on the roof of Żabka’s logistics centre in Małopole. In 2026, ISO 50001 has become one of the most established and forward-looking energy management standards, further reinforced by the new requirements of EU Directive 2023/1791 for companies with high energy consumption. The revised Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) clearly sets the direction for stricter regulatory expectations, while the systemic approach based on continuous improvement allows organizations to prepare for future regulatory changes without repeatedly rebuilding existing processes. For years, the white certificates system has been one of the key instruments supporting improvements in energy efficiency in Poland. In the coming years, however, it will undergo a significant transformation - both organizational and systemic. One of the most important elements of this change is the launch and expansion of the Central Register of Final Energy Savings (CROEF), which will become the central hub for reporting and aggregating data on energy savings. For businesses, this means new rules, greater transparency, and the need for better preparation of energy efficiency projects.
Compressed air systems are among the most energy-intensive auxiliary systems in industrial facilities. In many enterprises, they account for a dozen or even several dozen percent of total electricity consumption. Despite this, for years they have been treated as background infrastructure supporting production processes, without regular efficiency analysis. Meanwhile, improving the efficiency of compressed air systems is one of the fastest and most predictable ways to reduce energy consumption and operating costs.
