Jack & Oscar have both finished School!
We have had just three runners in the last week and we very nearly had a winner from debutant Masterius. He very nearly made a winning stable debut in the bumper at Market Rasen on Friday, losing out only by a head bob on the line. Our four-year-old was a new recruit from the sales at Doncaster and despite being a bit green in the preliminaries, he showed a great attitude in a battle at the finish. There was a prolonged battle with the eventual winners inside the final two furlongs as we lost nothing in defeat. He will be winning a similar contest in the near future. Read more...

Grand Clermont runner at Uttoxeter Today
There are two jumps meetings today at Cartmel and Uttoxeter and we have two runners at the latter, Grand Clermont and American Sniper. Grand Clermont runs in the feature Summer Cup handicap chase at 3.27pm and Lucas Murphy rides. Our ten-year-old is a multiple winner in France and was the very impressive winner over course and distance on his second start for us. He backed that up with a good run last time at Worcester to be second off a ten-pound higher mark and while this race is tougher again, especially having being nudge up another two pounds, I hope he has an each way chance and I do see he is the pick of Timeform!
