Captionss is an easy and fast CSS image caption solution that helps you add static or animated captions to images on hover. Pure CSS. No dependencies required. Based on Html5 figure and figcaption elements.

Basic Usage:

Import the captionss.css in the head section of the html document.

Create a bottom embedded image caption that reveals smoothly on hover.
