Accessibility at CHRIM
The Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba is committed to providing equitable access to its research, facilities, and communications. In December of 2013, the Accessibility for Manitobans Act became law. The newest standard as part of this act is the Accessible Information and Communication Standard Regulation, which goes into effect for non-profits on May 1st, 2025.
CHRIM recognizes that accessibility is an ongoing process, and that meeting the requirements in these acts is a minimum. There is always room for improvement, and we will always strive to meet the needs of our diverse community.
