The journal also accepts proposals for high-impact randomized trials that inform standards of care.

Cancer Cytopathology focuses on sharing information about cancer with experts who examine cells from bodily tissue or fluids in order to determine a diagnosis. Key areas include analytic cytopathology and morphology, fine-needle aspiration, gynecologic cytopathology, immunocytochemistry, and molecular diagnostics.
