We stayed here overnight. Big trucks aren’t allowed into the rest area but are a bit away, so there won’t be much noise from them. On a Saturday in February the traffic was pretty light too.

We last stayed here twice in Feb 2021 and enjoyed the stay in the older RV sites. We decided to stay in the new RV park. The water, sewer, and electrical are at the back of the RV sites. Could be a challenge to reach the sewer. You have 12 feet between sites. The picnic tables were right next to your site. My slide was 3 feet from the sites...

Great place to stay not only for the amazing park but close to Charleston, Johns Island and the beautiful surrounding areas. We walked around the park every morning with our dog. It was quiet at this time of year. There is a very big dog park too, which was fun. The only down-side (and we won't care that much once we retire) was cell service...
There are only 2 official RV spots if there is room in prime parking then RVs may park, but truck drivers are allowed to reserve in advance (flying j #617). It clean, well lit, only has the use roadside noise.
