Beatport & Don Julio Tap Carlita for 'Por Amor Weekender' in Verbier, Switzerland
Taking place in the picturesque Alpine village in Switzerland's Valais Canton on March 21st, DJ/producer Carlita will head up a special Beatport Live daytime performance during Don Julio's 'Por Amor Weekender' takeover in Verbier.
Don Julio has invited Beatport along for a unique trek up the Swiss Alps to Verbier's luxurious upscale ski resort to bring a rousing showcase of top-tier electronic music for an unforgettable weekend-long après-ski event that will heat up the mountainside with dancing, winter sports, premium hospitality, and, of course, plenty of tequila.
The 'Por Amor Weekender' in Verbier occurs between March 21 - 23. It will kick off Friday afternoon with a special opening DJ set from the beloved Turkish-Italian DJ/producer Carlita. A globally recognized force on the dance floor — who has just recently announced her forthcoming fabric presents mix+compilation — Beatport will be on-site to capture the magic of her mountainside performance, which will take place at a unique, breathtaking location in Verbier.
Later that same evening, Carlita will take over the decks once again at the cozy dance floor atmosphere of Club Farinet South, with opening support from Jad Alexander and Maqossa.
The following day, on March 22, dance music's masked and enigmatic icon, Claptone, will touch down in the Alps to perform an intimate show at Le Rouge alongside Alex Scott and Paul Reynolds.
