Friday Lates Music - NikNak & Gayance
The National Gallery, London –– February 28, 2025
On February 28th, Beatport hosted a unique evening of music, celebrating the opening of the new Roden Centre for Creative Learning at the National Gallery.
The event featured DJ sets from NikNak, known for her distinctive turntablism, immersive compositions, and captivating improvised performances and Gayance, whose dynamic performances blend Afro-Latin jazz, Caribbean rhythms, West African sounds, electronic music, and Hip Hop.

Sisters in Sound - Soundscape Microfest
NYC –– March 6 & 8, 2025
On March 6th and 8th, Beatport Diversity + Parity Fund recipient, Sisters in Sound, hosted an inspiring non-profit micro festival hosted across New York City, featuring thought-provoking panels, workshops, and networking opportunities with culture and gender-diverse industry leaders, artists, and advocates.
This event featured three activations CONNECT, ELEVATE and CELEBRATE which will be free or by donation and open to all, with a special focus on FLINTA and BIPOC artists, industry professionals and music-lovers.

Black House Radio Pop Up
Beatport HQ, L.A. –– February 13, 2025
On February 13th, 2025, Black House Radio will took over Beatport's brand-new HQ in LA’s Arts District for an engaging evening of learning, celebration, and rejoicing in the rich Black history of House music.
The pop up started with a conversation featuring DJs who run some of LA’s most exciting parties, who discussed how Black and Queer communities have shaped House music globally, what the genre means to them, and more..

KITTENS DJ Workshop
W Hollywood, L.A. –– November 6, 2024
On Wednesday, November 6th, Beatport’s Decoding the Music Industry series returned to the iconic W Hotel in West Hollywood with an inspiring DJ fundamentals workshop from KITTENS, who offered insights from her vast experience and career.
Closing the night on the stunning rooftop there were eclectic DJ sets from KITTENS, RaeCola and Vlatz.

Beatport Presents - The Legacy of Sound
Farsight Gallery, London –– October 15-18, 2024
In honour of Black History Month, Beatport presents an exhibition in London celebrating the profound cultural legacy of four electronic music genres of Black origin: House, Techno, Jungle, and UK Garage. We will take you on a journey through the history of these genres, showcasing iconic photography that captures pivotal moments in their evolution––with a special launch event on October 15 featuring talks from 4 artists.

On Wednesday, Aug 21st, Beatport’s “Decoding the Music Industry” series returned, this time to Downtown Los Angeles Proper Hotel. Hosted by Billboard’s Taylor Mims, a panel of industry experts gathered to discuss the live sector in L.A. from the perspective of promotion, event production and event PR.
