10DLC campaign registration now lives in Registration Center, your single home for messaging registrations, starting with early access API support in the US and Canada. Here’s what’s new:

Faster 10DLC API endpoints: New endpoints cut rate limiting and return clearer, more specific error messages so you can fix campaign issues faster.

Advanced sorting and filtering for 10DLC campaigns: Filter and sort your 10DLC campaigns by status, service class, and creation date through the API.

Expired campaigns hidden automatically: Expired 10DLC campaigns no longer clutter your results, so you spend less time hunting for active ones.

Introducing Dynamic Number Intelligence

We’re excited to launch Dynamic Number Intelligence (DNI), Bandwidth’s newest package for advanced phone number data. DNI offers you a full suite of features, like carrier assignment for both voice and messaging, carrier deactivation reports, and the current observed activation status. We’ve added these high-tech upgrades to our Phone Number Lookup API and added real-time carrier info to our messaging webhooks, all for one easy flat rate.

These real-time signals can help maximize your mobile user experience, protect your sender reputation, and ensure every message reaches a valid, active destination.

DNI is available to all Bandwidth messaging customers and is priced as a fixed monthly rate based on your messaging volume, eliminating the per-lookup cost and making frequent list validation economically viable. For more information or to enable this tool on your account, please reach out to your Account Manager, or visit our product page on DNI for more information!

Number Reputation Management

Bandwidth has expanded Number Reputation Management (NRM) to support monitoring and remediation for a broader range of phone numbers – giving customers greater visibility and control over spam labelling across their entire calling footprint.

With this enhancement, customers can now add US phone numbers from their other Bandwidth accounts, including legacy or non-Unified Platform (UP) accounts, into their NRM account for spam monitoring and remediation.

In addition, NRM now supports non-Bandwidth US phone numbers. Customers can monitor and remediate carrier-flagged spam issues for numbers that are provisioned with other providers, helping protect brand trust and improve answer rates across all outbound calling.

This update ultimately enables customers to reduce reputation blind spots, proactively address spam labeling, and increase contact rates – regardless of where their numbers are hosted.

Import Order Enhancements

We’ve improved how we track and report the status of your phone number import orders. When you import phone numbers for hosted messaging, you’ll now receive a clear breakdown of each number’s status:

  • Success: Phone number was successfully added to your account.
  • Failed: Phone number encountered issues during the import process.
  • Processing: Phone number is still being processed.

We’re also now providing warnings and suggested actions for each phone number within your import orders to help you quickly identify and resolve any potential issues!

These updates give you better visibility into the status of your phone number orders, allowing for faster troubleshooting and reducing the amount of time you spend managing your phone numbers, making for a smooth phone number import experience.

You can review the updated API documentation for full details on the changes.

Voice Configuration Packages for U.P. accounts

Effective January 31, 2025, we now offer Voice Configuration Packages (VCPs) for U.P. accounts. To help you manage the complex regulatory requirements of voice services globally, VCPs allow you to define and manage voice origination (inbound) settings and routing functionality for groups of phone numbers without regard for geographical constraints or the Location where those numbers are stored on your account.

As part of this effort, and to provide a scalable solution for the expanded scope of regulatory requirements for global voice services, we’ve moved the Inbound and Routing configuration settings from Locations to VCPs. For more information on how to create and manage Voice Configuration Packages for your U.P. account, check out our Creating Voice Configuration Packages support article.
