We Need Your Support.
ArtTable began at individuals’ lunch and dinner tables in New York City in 1980 to give women “a seat at the table” in the field of visual arts.
Nearly 50 years later, ArtTable is a national nonprofit organization committed to fostering a worldwide support network of women and nonbinary professionals working in arts administration. Our diverse, cross-disciplinary, and valued community members are inclusive of professionals in all stages of their careers who exemplify leadership in the administration, business, finance, management, promotion, scholarship, and stewardship of the visual arts. Our community also includes 12,000+ allies and supporters of our mission.
We can not do what we do without your support. Here is how you can help:
General Support
Gifts to our Annual Fund allow ArtTable to allocate your contribution where it is needed most. Your gift is fully tax-deductible, and any amount helps further our mission. You can make a one-time donation or set up a recurring contribution, helping us to plan ahead with confidence, allocate resources wisely, and sustain our programs for the long term.
Impact Initiatives
In 2022, ArtTable established the Impact Initiatives Fund, which directly impacts the ArtTable Fellowship, Pay Equity Project, CareerRoundTable program, and Mentorship Program, providing funding for our diversity, equity, inclusivity, and accessibility programming, and providing education and mentoring opportunities for early-career professionals in our Affiliate Membership Program.
Allyship
Open to anyone who believes in our mission – whether or not you qualify for regular membership – Allyship is a powerful way to champion equity and leadership in the field. As an Ally, you’ll enjoy all the benefits of ArtTable membership while making a significant impact on the future of the arts.
Events and Programming
Annual Benefit & Award Ceremony

ArtTable’s Annual Benefit & Award Ceremony is the organization’s only fundraising event of the year, bringing in approximately one third of the operating budget. Each year, the event honors two exemplary leaders in the arts with the Distinguished Service to the Visual Arts Award and the New Leadership Award, saluting the important work done in the past, advances being made in the present, and the potential for the future.
Year-Round Programming

ArtTable produces up to 100 quality programs nationwide each year, providing opportunities for networking, education, and support—bolstering local arts communities and offering a platform for artists and arts professionals to highlight their work and expand their reach. Our programming shines a light on speakers and topics often underrepresented in the field, with a particular commitment to elevating the voices of our membership base while welcoming participation from the broader arts community.
