My family adores this fantastic chocolate cake, especially with the whipped cream frosting!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Combine and sift together 2 cups flour 2 cups sugar cocoa salt baking soda and baking powder.

In a small bowl blend together eggs oil 1 cup milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla; combine with dry ingredients.

Mix thoroughly and then stir in one cup cold coffee (may use instant coffee).

Batter will be very thin but it bakes into a rich dark moist cake.

Pour into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan.

Bake for about 40 minutes.

Both simple and delicious. Years ago, I received this recipe from my mother-in-law. They are good with or without the kisses, but I prefer them without.

The butter, 1/2 cup white sugar, and brown sugar are smoothed out in a medium bowl.

Add the egg and a teaspoon of almond extract and mix well.

Salt, baking soda, and flour should be combined and added to the creamed mixture.

Dough should be covered and chilled for at least an hour or until it is easy to handle.

Set the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 degrees C).

Make 1-inch balls out of the dough.

On ungreased cookie sheets, space the balls 2 inches apart after rolling them in the remaining white sugar.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.

Place a chocolate kiss in the centre of each while they are still warm from the oven.

Take off from baking trays and cool on wire racks

Bring cauliflower and chicken broth to a boil in a large saucepan over high heat.

Allow cauliflower to simmer until soft and the cooking liquid has reduced by half about 10 minutes.

Remove cauliflower from the heat and add the butter Cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese.

Taste and adjust seasonings in curry before serving over cooked rice.
