Combine sugar butter shortening and egg yolks in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

Mix in sifted flour coconut buttermilk walnuts baking soda and vanilla extract.

Beat egg whites in a glass metal or ceramic bowl just until stiff peaks form.

Fold into the cake batter.

Divide batter among the prepared cake pans.

I love to fool around in the kitchen and I came up with this flatbread pizza and my parents love it.

In a sizable saucepan set over medium heat, warm the olive oil.

Add the onions, and cook and stir them for about 10 minutes, or until they are soft and starting to turn golden brown.

After adding the brown sugar, cook and stir the onions for an additional 10 minutes, or until they are a deep brown color.

Balsamic vinegar should be added and simmered until it has reduced and turned syrupy.

In the meantime, place the bacon in a sizable deep skillet and cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes, or until crisp and evenly browned.

On a plate covered with paper towels, the bacon slices should be drained, crumbled, and set aside.

Set the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees C)
