Accessibility Statement

PT Arfadia Digital Indonesia is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone who visits arfadia.com.

Last Reviewed: March 21, 2026

1. Our Commitment

We believe the web should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability, technology, or circumstance. This is not just a compliance checkbox for us. As a digital agency that builds online experiences for some of Indonesia's largest organizations, we hold ourselves to the same standards we recommend to our clients.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.

2. Measures We Take

To support accessibility, Arfadia takes the following actions:

  • Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and meaningful element structure across our website
  • Keyboard navigation: Core interactive elements (menus, buttons, forms, links) are accessible via keyboard without requiring a mouse
  • Color contrast: Text and background color combinations are designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Alt text: We provide descriptive alternative text for meaningful images. Decorative images are appropriately marked so screen readers skip them
  • Responsive design: Our website adapts to different screen sizes and supports text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • Form labels: All form inputs include visible labels and, where relevant, clear error messages and instructions
  • Focus indicators: Interactive elements display visible focus indicators for keyboard users
  • Link purpose: Links are written to be understandable out of context, and we avoid generic "click here" link text wherever possible
  • Motion and animation: Animations on our website respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting in your operating system

3. Conformance Status

We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. Our conformance status is currently partially conformant, meaning some parts of our website may not yet fully conform to every criterion. We are actively working to address known gaps, and we view accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project.

3.1 Known Limitations

We are transparent about areas where we know improvements are needed:

Area Known Issue Status
Legacy service pages Some older landing pages may have suboptimal heading hierarchy or missing alt text Being updated during 2026 revitalization
Third-party embeds YouTube video embeds and external badge widgets may not meet all WCAG criteria Limited by third-party control
PDF documents Some downloadable PDFs may not be fully tagged for screen reader accessibility Reviewing and remediating
Canvas animations Hero section particle animations do not convey content and are decorative only Appropriately hidden from assistive tech

4. Compatibility

Our website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
  • Screen magnification software
  • Speech recognition software
  • Keyboard-only navigation

We support the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and their mobile equivalents. Some features may not perform optimally on older browser versions.

5. Assessment Approach

We evaluate our website accessibility through a combination of methods:

  • Automated testing: Using tools such as Google Lighthouse, axe DevTools, and WAVE to identify technical issues
  • Manual review: Keyboard navigation testing, screen reader testing, and visual inspection by our development team
  • Ongoing monitoring: Accessibility checks are part of our standard quality assurance process for new pages and content updates

6. Feedback and Assistance

Your feedback matters to us. If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our website, or if you need information in an alternative format, please let us know. We take all reports seriously and will do our best to respond within 5 business days.

7. Applicable Standards and Regulations

This statement references the following standards and regulations:

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA - Web Content Accessibility Guidelines by W3C

This statement is reviewed and updated periodically as we make progress. We welcome your feedback in helping us identify and fix issues.
