Baraquel is supposedly one of the seven archangels. However, the Bible only names 3 - Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. The others are recognized by some of the Orthodox Churches but not the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church does not recognize the other names as their is no basis in scripture, either the Old or New Testaments. However, the Church does not deny the possible names of the others. Baraquel is considered the Angel of Virtue.
Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, Uriel, Selthiel, Judiel, and Barachiel (Baraquel) are the names recognized in the Eastern Orthodox Church.
