Service Platform Analyst

Daniel works as the Service Platform Analyst, supporting the global incident response efforts of the Digital Security Helpline, with a particular focus on incidents taking place on 3rd party services and infrastructure, including social media, email providers, hosting services and others.

Daniel has been part of the Digital Security Helpline team since 2014. He previously held other positions, including serving as Director, co-Director, Incident Response Manager and Latin America Regional Manager.

He works out of Access Now’s Costa Rica Office. He holds a degree in Electronics Engineer from the Instituto Tecnologico de Costa Rica. Prior to joining Access Now he worked as Operations Engineer and Quality Assurance Engineer for the Security Operations Center (SOC) at Costa Rica’s largest ISP.
