Figure 1 COVID-19 Vaccine Global Access Facility (COVAX) to ensure the country's access for its 20 million Singapore The diplomatic strategy conducted by the Philippines in obtaining a COVID-19 vaccine is through the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). This was conducted by supervising the involvement of foreign governments, pharmaceutical companies, and other related entities in the development, evaluation, as well as selection of vaccines for procurement and clinical trials. This ensures public accessibility towards COVID-19 Vaccines (NDVP, 2021) since they are facilitated by a program called The Philippine National Deployment and Vaccination Plan for COVID-19 Vaccines (NDVP). This program was developed by the Government under the leadership of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, and under the guidance of Minister of Health, Franscisco T. Duque III, and Chairman of the COVID-19 Vaccine Group, Secretary Carlito G. Galvez Jr.
