Niniejszy tom Studiów Komitetu Przestrzennego Zagospodarowania Kraju Polskiej
Akademii Nauk (KPZK PAN) stanowi zbiór artykułów systematyzujących główne
teoretyczne i aplikacyjne wyzwania współczesnej geografii społeczno-ekonomicznej.
Został on przygotowany z okazji Jubileuszu 80. urodzin prof. dr hab. Teresy Czyż,
wybitnej polskiej geograf społeczno-ekonomicznej, współtwórczyni poznańskiej
szkoły metodologicznej, inspiratorki wielu nowych nurtów i ujęć metodologicznych
oraz autorki licznych prac tworzących fundament polskich badań regionalnych.
Autorami poszczególnych części monografii są uznani, w przeważającej części samodzielni
pracownicy nauki, geografowie społeczno-ekonomiczni i ekonomiści reprezentujący
największe ośrodki geografii społeczno-ekonomicznej w Polsce. Publikacja
z jednej strony stanowi ich dowód uznania dla osoby i dorobku naukowego prof.
dr hab. Teresy Czyż oraz jest formą uczczenia Jubileuszu jej 80. urodzin, a z drugiej
strony jest odpowiedzią na potrzebę systematyzacji głównych teoretycznych i aplikacyjnych
wyzwań współczesnej geografii społeczno-ekonomicznej w oparciu o dorobek
polskiej literatury przedmiotu. W konsekwencji struktura wewnętrzna tomu
obejmuje dwie części. W pierwszej zebrano artykuły poruszające współcześnie istotne
zagadnienia teoretyczne geografii społeczno-ekonomicznej. Mają one charakter
uniwersalny i nawiązują do bieżącego, światowego dyskursu naukowego w tym zakresie.
Prace te dotyczą m.in.: relacji między geografią społeczno-ekonomiczną a gospodarką
przestrzenną, mechanizmów rozwoju przestrzeni ekonomicznej, redefinicji
czynników kształtujących jej przemiany, roli partycypacji w procesach rozwojowych,
przemian polityk publicznych, teoretycznych dylematów modelowania rozwoju
miast, zmieniających się metod badania struktur terytorialnych, a także zmieniającego
się pola badawczego geografii społeczno-ekonomicznej i gospodarki przestrzennej.
Druga część tomu zawiera artykuły prezentujące wyniki badań empirycznych,
dobrze konkretyzujące katalog aplikacyjnych wyzwań badawczych współczesnej polskiej
geografii społeczno-ekonomicznej. Wśród nich wyróżnić można badania nad:
dylematami polityki spójności, zmiennością dynamiki rozwoju polskich regionów
i wynikającymi z tego aktualnymi oraz prognozowanymi wyzwaniami, przemianami
polskiego systemu osadniczego, zarządzaniem miejskimi obszarami funkcjonalnymi,
zmieniającym się udziałem Polaków w migracjach globalnych, przemianami zależności
przestrzennych polskiego rolnictwa czy też tendencjami przestrzennymi i czasowymi
zróżnicowania budownictwa mieszkaniowego w Polsce.

This study aimed to analyze the bases of neighborhoods evolution in Amman city, and what transformation took place in them, by studying the historical bases related to ethnic, religious, and unity of origins and birthplace backgrounds, and the places where people have migrated from, and what other new factors replaced those former ones. The study used both the Descriptive analytical approach and the Deductive approach to review the factors contributing to neighborhood evolution in cities. Furthermore, the study focused on using case studies, surveying, and content analysis to obtain data, and it also used a narrative approach to gain understating of determinants of neighborhood evolution and key milestones in their transformations, through analyzing people's stories and narration of their private experiences. The study concluded that the end of 1970's and the beginning of 1980's could be considered as a transformation point in the history of Amman city, as the economic and social changes that took place in that period had led to the formation of new neighborhoods in the city according to the distinction of its inhabitants economically or socially, regardless the factors of ethnicity, similar origins, or country of where immigrants came from, which have determined the evolution of neighborhoods before the 1970's. Hence, it is clear that the new bases for residing in a certain neighborhood have neutralized the old essentials contributing to neighborhood formations. The study also showed that there is no one specific or precise theory that could explain the evolution of all the neighborhoods in Amman. The study recommended that researchers should be directed to study population movements within Amman's neighborhoods, and what factors contribute to these movements, besides to investigating the role of Job-related-housing projects and Special-housing projects in forming neighborhoods and new districts in Amman city and other Jordanian cities.

Museums are a constantly developing segment of cultural tourism. Poland is in line with current trends in museums, expanding its offer and adapting it to the requirements of the world of contemporary image culture and multisensory experiences, which is increasingly dominated by technology. The authors of the paper undertook to recognise the specificity of military museums, by conducting a survey of approximately a third of all such institutions in Poland. Due to the subject-matter of their exhibitions, military museums create a broad field of research both in terms of aesthetics and museum practice, as well as the issues of shaping and maintaining collective memory and the identity of the nation. They form a special mirror in which the country's ideas and aspirations are reflected more often than any real characteristics. The subject of the article is to analyze the changes in the grid of municipalities in the Russian Federation during the reform of local government under the influence of demographic factors. The research based on a systems approach to the studying of the regions where the interaction between demographic and government subsystem. The main research method was to analyze the legislation and regional statistics. Detailed analysis of the demographic situation in the Kirov oblast, the impact of natural and migration decline on change in the territorial organization of local self-government in the region. The prospects of development of the municipal division under the influence of population decline. It is concluded that the present time grid municipalities in depopulated regions of Russia is not stable and will continue to vary according to the dynamics of population.

Oczekiwania pracodawców w zakresie kompetencji absolwentów geografii społeczno-ekonomicznej Zarys treści: Edukacja jest integralną, a zarazem autonomiczną częścią systemu społeczno-gospodarczego. Jednym z ważniejszych wyzwań z tego wynikających jest potrzeba eliminowania rozdźwięku pomiędzy edukacją formalną a zapotrzebowaniem rynku. Aby odpowiednio przygotować absolwentów szkół, także uczelni wyższych, do wymogów rynku pracy, konieczne jest wprowadzanie zmian w programie edukacyjnym, które uwzględniać będą zarówno własne zainteresowania i aspiracje studenta, jak i potrzeby rynku pracy. Celem artykułu jest rozpoznanie oczekiwań potencjalnych pracodawców wobec absolwentów geografii społeczno-ekonomicznej jako nowych pracowników. Identyfikacja tych oczekiwania służyć może modyfikacji programu studiów, a w efekcie lepszemu dopasowaniu sylwetki absolwenta geografii społeczno-ekonomicznej do wymogów rynku pracy. Przyjęto przy tym założenie, że zatrudnienie na współczesnym wymagającym, zróżnicowanym, często niestabilnym rynku pracy, zależy nie tylko od wiedzy i umiejętności studentów, ale także innych ich kompetencji, w tym tzw. kompetencji miękkich. Podstawową, wykorzystaną w opracowaniu metodą badawczą są badania ankietowe.

Kraje Grupy Wyszehradzkiej zajmujące obszar Europy Środkowej, ze względu na swe położenie geografi czne i geopolityczne, cechują się wyraźną specyfiką kulturową. Przez wieki był to obszar ścierania się i przenikania wpływów Europy Północnej (Skandynawii) i Południowej (Śródziemnomorskiej), Europy Zachodniej i Wschodniej, a także azjatyckich. Ta część kontynentu, oprócz części dzisiejszych Węgier i Słowacji, pozostawała poza zasięgiem Cesarstwa Rzymskiego i za sprawą chrystianizacji w okresie średniowiecza znalazła się w zasięgu cywilizacji zachodniej. Jest to region z przewagą katolicyzmu i protestantyzmu, który od wschodu i południa ścierał się z wpływami prawosławia, kościoła unickiego i islamu. Zauważalny jest tu ponadto uwarunkowany historycznie dość duży wpływ kultury niemieckiej i żydowskiej. Z powyższego względu krajobraz kulturowy na analizowanym obszarze charakteryzuje się znaczną różnorodnością, czego przejawem są liczne pozostałości wielu grup etnicznych i religijnych. Typowy dla tej części Europy jest także silny rozwój miast i mieszczaństwa, wielowiekowy ustrój wsi oparty na stosunkach pańszczyźnianych i wielkiej własności ziemskiej (rozwój kultury szlacheckiej) czy stosunkowo późne uprzemysłowienie. Nie bez znaczenia pozostaje ponadto status polityczny tego obszaru, szczególnie długotrwały brak suwerenności i pozostawanie pod wpływem dominacji sąsiednich mocarstw. Wszystkie te czynniki odcisnęły swoje piętno na współczesnym obliczu dziedzictwa kulturowego i przyrodniczego.

In reference to contemporary trends in museums, the article aims to place Polish military museums between locality and universality, education and entertainment, stability and dynamism, knowledge and experience. The results obtained allowed the authors to distinguish three groups of military museums in Poland, as well as indicate conditions conducive to the further development of such attractions in the country.
