књиге – Михајлу Пупину, његовим патентима и животним ставовима, у књизи можемо читати и о много чему што је „довело” до данашњих сазнања о самом Пупину. Књига која се може лако прочитати од прве до последње странице, али и књига која се изучава, која отвара многа постојећа, али у први мах невидљива врата ка упознавању Михајла Пупина.

What do Eastern Orthodoxy and Radical Orthodoxy have to learn from each other? It is possible that some ecumenists may not even have heard of the 'radical orthodoxy' theological movement, which began in Cambridge in the 1990s with the work of three Anglican theologians: John Milbank, Catherine Pickstock, and Graham Ward. Others who have will note the apparent asymmetry of the conversation: the second largest family of Christian churches in the world, on the one hand, and a largely academic theological movement, on the other. While this distinction does provide the background to some of the questions that each side raises of the other, there is also a considerable theological common ground, which makes this such an exciting collection. In his foreword, David Bentley-Hart summarises this commonality as commitment to 'the Christian Platonist tradition', expressed through 'the metaphysics of participation, the deification of the creature in Christ, the ascent of the soul to the vision of God' and the refusal of 'any real partition, conceptual or ontological, between nature and grace' (p. xi). As he notes, even the Radical Orthodoxy heroes of Augustine and Aquinas are read in more 'Eastern' ways than the caricature of them as 'Latins ' (pp. xii-xiii). Putting it in these terms makes it clear that, far from being a free-floating academic theology without any ecclesiological roots, Radical Orthodoxy has at its heart a typically Anglican grounding in the patristic matrix which has enabled previous fruitful dialogues between Eastern Orthodoxy and Anglicanism. At the same time, this refusal to think of theology as denominational has meant that from its origins Radical Orthodoxy has involved likeminded Anglophone Roman Catholics and, more recently, has attracted considerable attention from American Reformed Protestants of a 'post-liberal' persuasion, as well as from continental Catholics. It would be no overstatement to say that it is the most influential movement to emerge from British theology in the last 30 years -even when, at times, that is through provoking controversy -and that it represents one of the best examples of the important shift towards truly ecumenical theology, beyond the apparent stalemates of more instrumental ecclesiastical theologies of ecumenism, replacing, as the editors suggest 'false compromise and self-righteous denominational pride with a true passion for truth' (p. 1). This collection emerged out of a conference held in Cambridge in 2005 with the Institute of Orthodox Christian Studies and, despite the deeper theological affinities already noted, it was the first major engagement between Radical Orthodoxy and the Churches of the East. Pabst and Schneider managed to assemble an impressive range of participants, including all three of the 'founders' of Radical Orthodoxy and some of the most important British writers on Eastern Orthodoxy, including Archbishop Rowan Williams and Professor Andrew Louth. Other Eastern contributors include an impressive range of theologians and philosophers (including Nicholas Loudovikos and Antoine Arjakovsky) spanning a variety of nationalities (Greek, Romanian, and Ukrainian), although perhaps unsurprisingly Western, or more pro-Western, academic voices tend to predominate, which makes for a more friendly dialogue than might otherwise have been the case. The chapters cover a wide range of topics and approaches, with many being pieces of theology representative of one tradition

The author of the article for the first time in Russian and Ural art criticism refers to the history of the organization of the 1935 Ural-Kuzbass art exhibition. Using the historical and genetic method, the main stages and events on the way to the exhibition are considered. The article summarizes and analyses the scattered historical data about the exhibition which are stored in the Documentation Centre of Public Organizations of the Sverdlovsk region and were found in the Sverdlovsk press of the 1930s. The study is of interest for completing the history of the artistic life of one of the largest industrial regions of the USSR in the 1930s; it provides new information about the functioning of art and the relationship between the government and the intelligentsia during this period. / Автор статьи впервые в отечественном и уральском искусствоведении обращается к истории организации художественной выставки 1935 года «Урало-Кузбасс». С помощью историко-генетического метода рассматриваются основные этапы и события на пути к проведению выставки. В статье обобщаются и анализируются разрозненные исторические данные о выставке, которые хранятся в Центре документации общественных организаций Свердловской области и были найдены в свердловской прессе 1930-х годов. Исследование представляет интерес для восполнения истории художественной жизни одного из крупнейших промышленных регионов СССР в 1930-е годы, вносит новые сведения о функционировании искусства и взаимоотношениях власти и интеллигенции в этот период.

В статье рассматривается вопрос о том, почему, несмотря на значительные успехи советских ученых в области искусственного интеллекта (ИИ), данная область в СССР не получила столь же активное развитие, какое она получила в США. В первой части статьи авторы рассматривают биографии советских ученых, чьи достижения сегодня признаются как весомый вклад в развитии ИИ: В.Н. Вапника, А.Я Червоненкиса, М.М. Бонгарда, А.А. Маркова и некоторых других. Во второй части представлен анализ институциональных условий развития советской науки, а также мотиваций советских ученых к занятию наукой. По результатам анализа авторы выдвигают три взаимодополняющие гипотезы.
Во-первых, в СССР для развития области ИИ был неблагоприятный организационный / институциональный контекст; в частности, не было единой площадки, где могли бы встречаться все те, кто занимается проблемами ИИ. Во-вторых, в СССР развивать ИИ значило работать на государство. Те ученые, кто стремился к этому, занимались применением ИИ к развитию управления экономикой и обществом, но это направление не получило широкого развития. В-третьих, в СССР (особенно на позднем этапе советской истории) имел место эскапизм, уход в чистую науку, связанный с общим разочарованием в проекте нового / советского человека и общества. В заключение авторы выделяют актуальность представленных выводов для понимания возможных траекторий развития ИИ в России и в мире в целом.

В 1905 году в России произошла первая антисамодержавная революция. Ясно, что её в течение десятилетий готовило всё русское освободительное движение, начиная с народников-социалистов и либералов 1860-х годов. В 1890-е годы к ним в России присоединились уже марксисты и социал-демократы. В 1900-е годы активную агитацию из-за рубежа начали марксисты (газета «Искра»), социал-либералы (журнал «Освобождение»), социалисты-революционеры (газета «Революционная Россия»). Во главе сколь возможно легальной общественной подготовки революции в самой России стали три человека, начавшие массовый революционный процесс, развернувшие христианскую революционную агитацию, сформулировавшие основы русского христианского социализма: священник Г. А. Гапон, организатор самого много численного в дореволюционной России протестного уличного шествия 9 января 1905 года, священник Г. С. Петров, самый известный в то время в России социально-христианский проповедник, и С. Н. Булгаков, один из былых вождей русского марксизма, вплотную подошедший к задаче формирования партии христианского социализма.

Die Lehre von der Sophia, der Weisheit in Gott, spricht vom göttlichen Prinzip in der Schöpfung, das die Gottebenbildlichkeit des Menschen und die Inkarnation Christi ermöglicht. Sie bildet die Mitte im Denken des russischen orthodoxen Theologen und Priesters Sergij Bulgakov (1871–1944). Mit dem vorliegenden Werk, das 1937 in englischer Sprache erschien und nun erstmals auf Deutsch textkritisch ediert und wissenschaftlich kommentiert vorliegt, wollte er seine Sophiologie „im Überblick“ einem westlichen Publikum nahebringen. Damit widerlegt er einerseits die Häresievorwürfe, die innerorthodox gegen ihn erhoben wurden, andererseits auch den westlichen Verdacht, es handle sich um eine russische Sonderlehre. Vielmehr erneuert und vertieft er die Lehre von der Weisheit Gottes aus den gemeinsamen Quellen biblischer und kirchlicher Tradition.

Bulgakovs theologischer Ansatz gründet im Christusbekenntnis des Konzils von Chalcedon (451) und weitet die Lehre von der Gottmenschheit, d.h. der Einigung von göttlicher und menschlicher Natur in Jesus dem Christus, auf das Ziel der Einigung zwischen Schöpfer und Schöpfung aus. Darin sieht der Autor zugleich den ökumenischen Schlüssel zur Wiederherstellung der christlichen Einheit: Die Sophiologie stiftet ein besonderes, die Christenheit verbindendes „Verständnis aller christlichen Lehren und Dogmen, von der Trinität und der Inkarnation bis zu den heutigen Fragen des praktischen Christentums“.

On 13 October 2023, within the framework of the VI Congress of the Russian Religious Studies Society, an international round table in memory of Professor Nikolai Lvovich Muskhelishvili was held within the walls of the Orthodox Svyato-Tikhonovsky Humanitarian University in Moscow. Due to the hybrid format of presentations, the round table was attended by former colleagues of Nikolai L. Muskhelishvili from Russia, Italy, Great Britain, Canada and Ukraine. The roundtable was moderated by Mikhail Maksimovich Bazlev and Alexei Viktorovich Yudin. The article contains the materials presented by the participants of the round table, restored and edited from the record. Their purpose is to attempt to restore the image of Professor Muskhelishvili, the tasks he set and the meanings that unfolded around him and thanks to him.
13 октября 2023 г. в рамках VI Конгресса Русского религиоведческого общества в стенах Православного Свято-Тихоновского гуманитарного университета в Москве прошел международный круглый стол памяти профессора Николая Львовича Мусхелишвили. Благодаря гибридному формату выступлений участие в круглом столе приняли бывшие коллеги Николая Львовича как из России, так и Италии, Великобритании, Канады и Украины. Модераторами круглого стола выступили Михаил Максимович Базлев и Алексей Викторович Юдин. В статье приводятся восстановленные и отредактированные по записи материалы, представленные участниками круглого стола. Их целью является попытка восстановить образ профессора Мусхелишвили, поставленные им задачи и те смыслы, что раскрывались вокруг него и благодаря ему.

Статья посвящена сравнению четырех английских переводов рассказа А. П. Чехова «Черный монах», выполненных в начале ХХ и в начале календарного XXI веков. Основное отличие современных переводов – наличие комментария переводчиков. Сделаны выводы о том, насколько литературоведческий и биографический комментарий представляется необходимыми для более глубокого понимания художественного произведения.

нетварным и сотворенным приобретает, по мнению Булгакова,
высокую степень понятности, особенно в контексте его концепции
православной христианской софиологии.

Issue 3 (51) of The Quarterly Journal of St. Philaret’s Institute” opens with History of the Russian abroad section. The article by I. Y. Smirnova is devoted to the little-studied activity of the The Russian Clergy and Church Aid Fund, established under the patronage of the Church of England in 1923. The article by A. A. Burov explores the views of Russian religious philosophers and churchmen — authors of the journals “Put’” and “Novyi Grad”, members of the brotherhood of St. Sophia, co-workers of the association “Orthodox Cause” — on the social meanings of Christianity and the Christian potential of corporatism. The article by U. A. Gutner is devoted to the activities of N. A. Berdyaev in the Russian Student Christian Movement (RSCM) in the period from 1923 to the 1930s; the text of the “Memorandum” written by Berdyaev in December 1926, which formulates the basic principles of the RSCM, is introduced into scientific circulation. The article by V. V. Cherkasov reveals the theme of representation of the position of the Russian Orthodox Church and believers in the USSR in 1949–1965 on the pages of the journal “Bulletin of the Russian Student Christian Movement”. The section concludes with an overview of the materials of the All-Russian Scientific Conference with international participation “Russian Student Christian Movement: pages of history and the experience of ‘making life ecclesial’ (otserkovlenie)” (Moscow, October 4–5, 2023), prepared by I. Y. Skorobogatova.

Biblical Studies section is presented by an article by Priest Dionysius Kim, which examines the method of narrative analysis of the biblical text in comparison with the patristic tradition of Bible interpretation and with a general humanitarian approach.

Patristics section is presented by an article by T. G. Popova devoted to the Gospel parables used in the text of the Ladder by John of Sinai (based on the material of the Russian translation of Optina Pustyn).

Translations of Primary sources section continues the publication cycle of S. S. Puchkova’s translation of Theodore of Mopsuestia’s “Catechetical Homilies”; this issue presents a translation of the third homily on baptism (the 14th Catechetical Homily), complete with an introductory article and theological commentary.

Казань не раз становилась свидетельницей ключевых военных событий, определяющих весь ход исторического периода страны. Безусловно одним из таких периодов является время «Второй русской Смуты» 1917-1922 гг., когда именно под Казанью в 1918 г. решалась судьба всей России. В рамках недавно минувшего столетия окончания Гражданской войны будет весьма актуально взглянуть на столь мало изученный сюжет, как обыденная городская жизнь в условиях социальных потрясений и следующих непримиримых столкновений (как идеологических, так и вооруженных). Небольшое по времени господство над городом со стороны Комуча (7 августа-10 сентября 1918 г.) привнесло огромное количество изменений в повседневную жизнь казанцев, и невероятным образом сказалось на истории региона. Удерживая ключевой опорный пункт для дальнейшего прорыва на Москву, части Комуча вынуждены будут уделять большое внимание на внутреннее устройство Казани, поддерживая обыденную жизнь городского населения посредством выстраивания новых политических и гражданских институтов. В данной статье будет предпринята попытка реконструировать жизнь Казани в условиях возникшего прифронтового положения. Итоговый анализ выявил ряд как положительных черт Комучевской Казани (восстановление хозяйства, прекращение религиозного и национального притеснения, формирование местной национальной политики, приток рабочих и армейских добровольцев), так и проблемных (неоднозначность рабочей программы, оторванность от столицы, антагонизм местной и центральной власти, растянутость фронта и постоянные бомбардировки), которые четко демонстрируют предпосылки оставления Народной армией Казани.

В статье рассматривается одно из ключевых доказательств, представленных комиссией Бурденко, которая утверждала, что к расстрелу польских офицеров в Катыни (Козьи Горы) причастны немецкие войска. Основное внимание уделено так называемому "доказательству" — немецкой верёвке, которую, согласно отчётам, видели десятки свидетелей. Автор статьи ставит под сомнение достоверность этих свидетельств и анализирует их надежность, задаваясь вопросом, можно ли считать эту верёвку убедительным доказательством вины немцев в трагедии. В статье проводится критический разбор свидетельских показаний и предлагается пересмотреть их значимость в контексте исторических фактов.

The article examines one of the key pieces of evidence presented by the Burdenko Commission, which claimed that German forces were responsible for the execution of Polish officers in Katyn (Kozy Gory). The focus is on the so-called "evidence" of a German rope, allegedly seen by dozens of witnesses. The author questions the reliability of these testimonies, analyzing whether this rope can be considered convincing proof of German guilt in the tragedy. The article critically reviews the witness statements and suggests reconsidering their significance in the context of historical facts.

W artykule omówiono jeden z kluczowych dowodów przedstawionych przez Komisję Burdenki, która twierdziła, że za egzekucję polskich oficerów w Katyniu (Kozie Góry) odpowiedzialne są wojska niemieckie. Główną uwagę poświęcono tzw. "dowodowi" w postaci niemieckiego sznura, który rzekomo widziały dziesiątki świadków. Autor poddaje w wątpliwość wiarygodność tych zeznań, analizując, czy ten sznur można uznać za przekonujący dowód winy Niemców w tej tragedii. W artykule krytycznie przeanalizowano zeznania świadków i sugeruje się ponowne przemyślenie ich znaczenia w kontekście faktów historycznych.

of their power, the Bolsheviks began to use exile as an economically
advantageous tool for isolating their political enemies. The intelligentsia, which made up the majority of political messengers, was
forced to adapt to the conditions of Siberia.

Arthur Hugh Clough's dialogue-poem Dipsychus is an intriguing contribution to what might be defined «tourist literature». While the theme of the «Innocent Abroad» can be said to be a well-established convention in Anglo-Italian literature, Clough is perhaps the first to make a penetrating examination of the specific relationship between the tourist and his guide. Venice provides a suitably ambiguous setting for this conflict between high aspirations and worldly cynicism and also allows the poet himself to come to terms with two overpowering literary «guides»: Byron and Ruskin.

The concept of Polish memory policy Katyn Case with the political context that was originally embedded in it by Nazi propaganda and that was subsequently developed, including by the Polish emigration government, has been effectively used for decades in the information war against the Soviet Union and now against the Russian Federation.

During the Cold War, the Nazi version of the Katyn crime would get its "second wind". The Polish emigration government will engage in further theoretical developments, as a result of which the number of Katyn victims will be increased to 14.5 thousand people. Outside the USSR, this content was memorialized in the form of a monument called "Memorial Katyn", erected in London in 1976 with funds raised by American-British funds. The end of this period - the Cold War Katyn - is associated with the publication in the Gorbachev-Yeltsin period of photocopies of a number of documents on the fate of 14,500 Poles. On the territory of the Russian Federation this content of the Кatyn Case was memorialized in 2000 in the form of Polish military cemeteries "Katyn" near Smolensk and "Mednoye" near Tver.

In Polish and English literature, the "classical" content of the "Katyn Case" usually begins with August 23, 1939, the date of the signing of the Non-Aggression Pact between Germany and the Soviet Union. Two more key dates, which according to Western authors are the initial ones for understanding the events of the "Katyn Case", are September 1 and September 17, 1939. Their symbolic content is connected with the interpretation of the events of the beginning of the Second World War as a coordinated attack on Poland by two totalitarian states - Germany and the Soviet Union. This interpretation is obviously closely connected with the efforts to accuse the Soviet Union of Hitler's complicity in unleashing the Second World War and is intended at the symbolic level to serve as a means of likening the two political regimes - Hitler's and Stalin's - and of "equalizing" the historical responsibility of the two countries - Germany and the USSR - for the tragedy of the peoples of Europe during the Second World War.

It is obvious that the Polish military cemeteries "Katyn" and "Mednoe" were created not simply under the influence of this concept, but in full compliance with its basic postulates: for example, they contain cast-iron enlarged copies of the Cross of the September Campaign - a commemorative medal established by the decree of the president of the Polish emigration government on September 1, 1984 "to commemorate the battles for the defense and independence of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth during the military campaign with Germany and the Soviet Union". It was awarded both to those who distinguished themselves in battles against Germany and those who participated in rare clashes with Red Army units after September 17, 1939.

Poland, symbolically depicted as the Polish armorial eagle of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in a crown of thorns made of barbed Soviet wire, would become one of the main symbols of confrontation in Cold War Europe for 50 years to come.

Since October 1992, there has been a third - again expanded - the "Katyn Case" content. This time the number of victims was again increased, and the geography of the crime was expanded: the concepts of "Ukrainian Katyn" and "Belarusian Katyn" appeared, the total number of "Katyn victims" reached already 22 thousand people. This concept was memorialized only in Ukraine - in the form of construction of the Polish-Ukrainian memorial "Bykivnia" in 2012. The Polish side planned to build the so-called "fifth Katyn cemetery" in Kuropaty (Belarus).

By now, the concept of the Polish memory policy the "Katyn Case" has consolidated in its third scheme and has become a metonym - a symbol of the first and second "Soviet occupation of Poland", a means to justify the crimes of Nazism, equating the Nazi regime and the Soviet system. The memorialization of theoretical constructions of the concept of Polish memory policy concept "Katyn Affair" is carried out in the form of the design of Polish real and symbolic burials.

CHAPTER TITLE: "SEMIOTIC BORDERLINE: GRAPHICS AS AN INDICATOR OF TRANSLATOR’S DOMINANT – THE CASE STUDY OF PICTURES BY ERNEST SHEPARD AND POETRY FOR CHILDREN BY ALAN ALEXANDER MILNE IN POLISH TRANSLATIONS".
ABSTRACT: The paper discusses the influence of intersemiotic relations between text and graphics on literary translation practice and lexical choices of translators. Based on English poetry for children by A. A. Milne and pictures by E. H. Shepard collected in two volumes ("When We Were Very Young" and "Now We Are Seven") compared with their Polish versions (by Antoni Marianowicz and Irena Tuwim, Zofia Kierszys, Michał Rusinek, Stanisław Baranczak), a variety of issues determining the translators’ decisions are presented and analyzed.

First-Year Writing “equips students to grow as writers in the Wheaton College classroom and beyond. The course is designed to prepare students to write effectively in a variety of social contexts and to improve student learning and performance in many other facets of their undergraduate education.” At the end of the course, students present their research papers to one another at a student conference, and instructors award prizes for the best papers. The winners are chosen through a two-step process: instructors nominate students’ papers from their classes and then a panel of judges selects the best papers from the nominations. The following research papers received FYW awards in 2015-2016.

This study investigates Maxim Gorky's public and literary life based on new materials from Italian and Russian archives (Archivio Centrale Dello Stato and the Archives of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs), which bring to light Gorky's reasons for returning to the Soviet Union in 1928 and to travel back and forth to Italy until 1933, when he decided to remain in the Soviet Union. The period under examination, the years of Gorky's life (1868-1936), witnessed the Revolution of 1905, World War I, the February and October Revolutions, the Civil War, NEP, and a cultural revolution of which Gorky became a zealous architect. This study argues chapter examines Gorky's criticism of Lenin's fanaticism, Marxist ideology, and the October Revolution. It also explores why Gorky decided to begin collaborating with the Bolsheviks. The fourth chapter demonstrates that Gorky became disillusioned with European politics, criticized Nazism and Fascism, and became more drawn to Soviet reality. Gorky made a pact with the Soviet government based on his grand delusion in order to continue writing his works for a Russian-speaking audience, preserve Russian and European cultures at a time when Fascism spread in Europe, and, most importantly, construct a new, creative, hardworking, and educated common people. He was continuing his crusade to recast "Man." Finally, the fifth chapter explores Gorky's role in building the Soviet cultural system. His preservation projects saved Russian culture, but not the millions of people who perished in Stalin's labor camps. However, Gorky's literary legacy, particularly his plays, where the human being occupies the center, still teach us to appreciate the humane, beautiful, and sublime without venerating money. Gorky's belief in the human imagination and man's abilities to create a good and purposeful life for oneself remains a matter of admiration and inspiration. v ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS Any intellectual project is a personal and lonely journey but with numerous people helping on its way. Стихотворение «Три подвига» 1882 года нам показывает эти стадии во форме трeх мифов Античной Греции. Тем самым это стихотворение как бы является ключом к к более глубокому пониманию соловьeвской философии любви.

Gregory of Nyssa (c. 335–395) was a bishop in the province of Cappadocia
in what is now Turkey. Being among the most important Christian thinkers of
the fourth century, Gregory is famous for his defense of trinitarian orthodoxy.
His thinking is characterized by a highly apophatic approach to theology that
does not seek to define the divine nature in positive terms, but only speaks
using negations of what God is not. However, Gregory was also the author of
a great amount of moral philosophical and spiritual writings and sermons. In
many cases these exhibit a critical attitude toward political power and domination.

The aim of this paper is to re-read the criticism of the Russian intelligentsia, which was made by authors of Landmarks ("Vekhy", 1909) and Out of the Depth ("Iz glubiny", 1918), in the context of the support given to the Russian invasion on the Ukraine in 2022 by the large part of Russian intellectuals. Instead of perceiving the current "rapprochement" of the Russian intelligentsia to the Putin government as a kind of "aberration" and a departure from its "moral mission", the author would like to show the arguments concerning long duration of the tradition of their acceptance of the anti-liberal and authoritarian course of the Russian government. This tradition was unveiled by such outstanding Russian liberals and religious thinkers as, among others: Nikolai Berdyaev, Petr Struve, Bogdan Kistyakovski, Iosif Pokrovsky and Sergei Kotlyarevsky. They believed that the susceptibility of the intelligentsia to revolutionary slogans was caused not only by hostility to the Old Regime, but by their instrumental attitude to the state and law. They claimed that the Russian intelligentsia had much more in common with the representatives of Tsarist autocracy than would result from the hostility felt towards it. A common feature of both was "legal nihilism"-a point of view that assumed a distrustful attitude towards rational law. The only way to overcome this distrust was therefore instilling Kant's personalism and raising the authority of natural law among the broad strata of the Russian intelligentsia.

This article focuses on Paolo Trubetskoi’s statue of Alexander III and the controversy surrounding it. Trubetskoi won the commission over other well-known sculptors thanks to his aristocratic origins, the approval of the imperial family, and his successful portraits of Lev Tolstoi and others. Through an analysis of the monument’s artistic value and its contemporary and subsequent reception, the article considers whether it was a failure, and if so why.

The fall of communism substantially changed the life of the world community. It brought about both positive alterations hoped for by many and new, unexpected problems and dangers. The Cold War, with its deadly confrontation of two "monolithic" superpowers, ended with the flaring up of bitter regional but, nevertheless, "hot" conflicts. The seemingly secular opposition between socialism and capitalism has been followed by the struggle among rival religious ideologies. What conceptual network can be applied, then, to this unstable situation of dispersed powers or, using today's popular terminology, different "language games"?

Based on the analysis of works of two Russian thinkers S. Hessen and M. Rubinstein the paper considers the problems of national education. It determines that the First World War served as a specific catalyst for data access issues. Russian Neo-Kantian philosophers, graduates of German universities, did not succumb to the chauvinistic sentiments of the masses and opposed the indiscriminate denial of the presence of human values. On the contrary, they tried to sharpen the dilemma of-national-universal‖ to allow consistent manner, including in higher education.

Камерализм как учение и практика соответствует эпохе меркантилизма-XVI-XVIII вв.-условному периоду, когда экономическая мысль перестала быть средневековой, но еще не стала политической экономией. Последнее время данное направление, корпусы текстов об искусстве и науке управления стали все активнее подвергаться ревизии и актуализироваться. Предмет статьи-переводы на русский язык второй половины XVIII в. книг самого знаменитого камералиста этого периода-Иоганна Генриха Готлиба фон Юсти (1717-1771). Выявленные переводы Юсти по камеральным и полицейским наукам, по развитию промышленности образуют огромный массив текста более чем в три тысячи страниц. Юсти-самый переводимый на русский экономист XVIII в.; при этом удалось также показать, что не французские, а именно русские переводы оказались самыми масштабными для самого Юсти. Кроме сличения текстов с оригиналами, выявления терминологической стратегии переводчиков и пристального внимания к любым сокращениям, добавлениям и предисловиям, особое внимание было уделено поиску информации о самих переводчиках, об обстоятельствах, связанных с организацией и оплатой перевода. Книги были подготовлены в двух главных академических центрах-Московском университете и Петербургской академии наук. Их перевод отличался, за редкими исключениями, полнотой и буквализмом. В основном в них отсутствовала научная проработка, т.е. они были только переводами без полемики, содержательных предисловий и дополнений. Большие тиражи и роскошный тип издания говорили о том, что они ориентировались на широкую публику и осуществляли символическую функцию «просвещенности». На примере термина Policei показана стратегия переводчиков, которые справедливо пытались придать «полиции» более широкое значение и переводили как благочиние, благоустроение, добронравие, из-за чего текст перевода становился еще более нормативным.

In the article, the inner form and the most important elements of content of the supplement by religion, which has influenced both Marxist revolutionary messianism and anti-messianism of conservative consciousness and conservative social and political thought of the Modernist period. The adversarial relationship of these two philosophical and ideological positions was often interpreted through the lens of the opposition of the Old and the New Testament, of conservative essence of the former and messianistic essence of the latter. As an example of the revolutionary-messianistic logic, the theory of "propaganda" of Russian Marxists God-builders is considered in the article, represented along with an analysis of historical forms of religious consciousness, firstly in the work of A. V. Lunacharsky "Religion and Socialism" (1908), while for an example of historical self-reflection of conservative consciousness we took the criticism of the New Testament and Christianity by V. V. Rozanov.
