Статья посвящена проблеме экспертного анализа информации порнографического характера, представляющей ситуацию порномести (несогласованное размещение материалов сексуального содержания в публичном пространстве). В работе представлен перечень социальных практик, относящихся к порномести; устанавливаются участники коммуникативного акта: актор, адресаты – запечатленное лицо, референтная группа, сторонний участник; определяется интенциональная составляющая коммуникативной деятельности актора; дается перечень коммуникативных целей актора в условиях множественной адресности. Раскрываются особенности реконтекстуализации порнографического материала; при этом обращается внимание на слабую зависимость порнографического дискурса от экстралингвистического фона. Отмечается, что в ситуации порномести информация порнографического характера подвергается реконтекстуализации, что при поверхностном анализе затрудняет установление лингвистических (семиотических) признаков информации порнографического характера. Утверждается, что в условиях переноса порнографического текста в конфликтогенный контекст, порнографические смыслы сохраняются. При этом актуализация табуированного аспекта сексуального взаимодействия лежит в основе трансформации эмотивного потенциала и определяет характер отношений между участниками коммуникативной ситуации. Авторы приходят к выводу, что для установления лингвистических признаков информации порнографического характера необходима деконстекстуализация представленного на исследование текста. In the dissertation the author presents the analysis of the use of phraseological units in modern political discourse in Russia and the Czech Republic. The author shows that phraseology can be a tool for increasing the expressiveness of a speech, for contacting and influencing the audience in the political discourse. The analysis of cognitive and pragmatic specifics of idioms and metalanguage commentaries in the speech of politicians in a comparative aspect is carried out. As a result the author showes the specifics of the use of phraseological units in describing the speech image of a politician. This article outlines major trends in the development of social semiotics during the last four decades of its existence. The starting point was the interface between functional analysis of the semiotic system of language and the structural interpretation of language as a social system. Their convergence provided the basis for further developing an interdisciplinary domain of social semiotics. Michael Halliday’s book “Language as social semiotic: The social interpretation of language and meaning” (1978) gave an initial impetus to exploring the interface of semiotic and social. Ten years later his approach was reinterpreted by Bob Hodge and Gunther Kress in “Social Semiotics” (1988). C'est à Roland Barthes que nous devons la notion de "rhétorique de l'image". La rhétorique est la « technique de la mise en œuvre des moyens d'expression pour persuader » (Le Robert) Le propre de toute rhétorique est de mettre en jeu au moins deux niveaux de langage, le propre ou le dénoté et le figuré ou le connoté. Analyser des images c'est passer par la sémiologie-par l'étude des signes, science que l'on doit au linguiste Ferdinand de Saussure, reprise ensuite par Roland Barthes, notamment dans son étude, désormais célèbre, de la publicité Panzani (datant des années 60).

Представлены результаты трансформации жанра «поздравление» согласно запросам политического дискурса. Авторы описывают механизмы, при помощи которых ядерный жанр праздничного дискурса подстраивается под принимающий дискурс и становится инструментом для сохранения и укрепления политической власти, что приводит к трансформации цели, композиционной структуры и языкового воплощения жанра. Авторское резюме Рассматриваются особенности трансформации жанра «поздравление» в президентском дискурсе восточнославянских стран на материале новогодних поздравлений В. Путина, А. Лукашенко и П. Порошенко. Описываются механизмы взаимодействия и борьбы праздничного и президентского дискурсов в рамках жанра. Жанр «поздравление» в президентском дискурсе становится одним из инструментов для сохранения власти, нацеленным на объединение нации, а также продвижение и актуализацию политической идеи. В связи с этим наряду с ценностями, характерными для праздничной картины мира, в поздравлении актуализируются институциональные установки главы государства. При этом первичная цель поздравления как ядерного жанра праздничного дискурса-усиление положительного эмоционального состояния адресата-становится второстепенной. При сохранении традиционной структуры жанра (обращение, поздравление, пожелание) в президентском поздравлении появляется информационная часть, которая нацелена на презентацию деятельности политика. В ней представлена гармоничная картина мира, моделируемая существующей политической властью. При этом содержание информационной части, как и других композиционных частей поздравления, обусловлено праздничной идей Нового года. Однако большое значение при формировании контента имеют политические установки президента, статус института власти, актуальная политическая и экономическая повестка в стране.

Исследование посвящено специфике реализации
метаязыковой системы в научном метадискурсе современных франкоязычных исследований в области языкознания. В качестве материала исследования выступают научные статьи франкоязычных лингвистов за 2020 год. На основе данных текстов выявляются такие лексические особенности
языковедческого метадискурса, как употребление автонимов, или «самоназываний», специфических и неспецифических терминологических единиц. Анализ прагматического аспекта позволил указать на специфику реализации миметической функции. Выявленные специфические черты на всех уровнях демонстрируют сложность субъект-объектных отношений в лингвистических исследованиях.

El análisis literario no es una actividad que se da en el vacío, libre de condicionamientos ideológicos. Aun cuando se pretenda describir un texto con total objetividad, sabemos ya que ello es imposible: toda enunciación conlleva un(os) juicio(s) —entre las múltiples fuliciones que desempeña: función comunicativa, fática, conativa, poética, refcrencial, etc.— que la relaciona(n) con una subjetividad que toma posición precisamente en el acto de enunciar. El sujeto es efecto de sus discursos, en los cuales se "reconoce".

The article presents a review of the development of social semiotics in the four recent decades of its existence. It focuses on its subject matter and disciplinary dimensions as well as on current challenges of multimodality and multidisciplinarity.

Обсуждается проблема противоречия между единственностью формы текста как воплощения замысла автора и множественностью вариантов интерпретации его смысла. Анализируется фактор дотекстовых ожиданий адресата, детерминирующий множественность и вариативность интерпретации политического (инаугурационного) текста реципиентом. На материале результатов лингвистического интерпретационного эксперимента доказывается, что процесс восприятия политического текста осуществляется под влиянием образа его автора, который регулирует дотекстовые ожидания реципиента. Ключевые слова: адресатоцентричная модель, интерпретация текста, ожидания адресата, образ автора, инаугурационный дискурс.

This paper deals with the analysis and annotation of gestures which we call stand-up gestures. These gestures distinguish themselves from the flow of verbal information exchange by their regulating and coordinating function in communication, independent from the spoken content. The name also bears reference to stand-up comedy where these gestures occur as part of the normal repertoire of successful performance. Besides analysing the functions of stand-up gestures, the paper also discusses their annotation using the MUMIN annotation scheme and proposes extensions to the scheme in terms of a meta-discursive context level.

В статье ставится вопрос о  существовании исторической политики как части технологизированных политических коммуникаций в домодерновом обществе в условиях отсутствия институционально оформленной публичной политической сферы. В  качестве альтернативы институциональному подходу (согласно которому историческая политика теоретически возможна только при существовании институтов публичной политики) предлагается понимать политическую сферу как пространство коммуникативного
обмена, а  коммуникации  – как имманентное свойство социально-политической жизни человеческих коллективов. На  примерах из  летописных текстов о  происхождении московских царей, дипломатической переписки о присоединении Сибири, актов Опричнины показано, как коллективная историческая память может конструироваться в отсутствии институтов публичной политики. Делается вывод, что публичные политические институты модерного государства являются не условием существования исторической политики, а основанием для ее стабильной трансляции.

The aim of the article is to disclose some general trends in scientific discourse studies that have emerged by the second decade of the 21 st century, to characterize scientific discourse as a means of promoting knowledge, and to consider its contribution to public communication. The notion of scientific discourse incorporates both conventional (scientific articles, reviews, theses, dissertation abstracts) and modern forms of discourse (online academic conferences, symposia, colloquiums, seminars). The research is viewed in the article as a result of scientists' social activity targeted at new knowledge discovery and broadcasting, whilst the scientific text is defined in terms of verbal representation of the research results in a par with new knowledge transmission. This essay asks how we might enrich modern political discourse analysis. To do so, I propose a political codes analysis as a complementary approach, as a way of investigating a social world using the special concepts of codes and programs. The essay is divided into two sections. The first section aims to integrate the concepts of codes and programs into modern political analysis. Here, I examine the possibility of using such terms in the humanities and define them and describe their main features. The second section pays attention to the practical value of political codes analysis, focusing on the symbolic formalizing, technical features, and perspectives of further research. In this section, I consider Big Data and Blockchain technologies and how they might be integrated into political discourse analysis. The main purposes of political codes analysis are to find identities (ideologies), to disclose potential political conflicts and to investigate a subject and an object of political power. The essay may be of interest both to discourse analysts and other scholars who study social processes.

This article describes classical approaches to understanding political discourse analysis as one of the most promising methods of political analysis. The article examines both the critical discourse analysis approaches proposed by G. Kress and L. Сhouliaraki (socio-semantic approach), N. Fairclough and R. Wodak (socio-cultural approach), and T. Van Dijk (sociocognitive approach), as well as the postmodern theory of discourse analysis proposed by M. Foucault and developed by his followers, in particular E. Laclau and S. Mouffe. The objective of this essay is to compare and contrast different methodologies for the advancement of political discourse analysis.
There are a number of factors that make this article relevant. In the first place, modern methods of studying political reality are in crisis. They are no longer as effective at comprehending the social processes of our time as they once were. Secondly, the popularity of interdisciplinary research methods is growing every day, and political discourse analysis is seen as a vivid example of such a method. Thirdly, consciousness, which is still considered an insufficiently studied phenomenon in the social sciences, can finally be replaced by language. Language or discourse is considered here as the bricks of which consciousness is composed and thanks to which it can perform in the social space. This approach allows us to ignore the physical and biological manifestations of consciousness in favor of social ones, which allows us to interpret the socio-political reality of our time as accurately as possible and predict future changes.
As a result, we define political discourse analysis as a kind of general political analysis based on postmodern discourse theory. We are sure that this type of analysis has the greatest prospects for the study of such social processes and social relations as power, conflicts, inequality, political identity, etc.
This article will be interesting for those who are engaged in political discourse analysis and developing it, as well as for other scholars who study the philosophy of science, methodology, political psychology, and quantitative and qualitative research methods in the social sciences.

The article considers the pragmatic and manipulative of personal pronouns in political discourse. Despite the main deictic meaning, personal pronouns perform different functions in political discourse. Their main feature of pronouns is that they are the main factors of manipulating society. The choice of politics or other pronouns of the properties depends on various factors: political, geopolitical, social, psychological, etc. The use of pronouns makes the politician's speech more expressive and, what is the most important, more effective in the process of achieving the main goal of political discourse - a struggle for power/preservation of power. Personal pronouns express a wide variety of meanings in political discourse, up to the exact opposite. Целью статьи является функциональный анализ воздействующей публичной речи и выявление роли американской идентичности в дискурсе. Функциональная перспектива экономического дискурса выстраивается в двух типах речевых стратегий: направленных на идентичность как единение и идентичность как отличие от других наций, в том числе врагов. Выявлены соответствующие речевые тактики: тактики позитивной риторики, благодарности, обещания, лести и тактики создания образа врага, угрозы, декларации намерений. Анализ показал, что свойство нелинейности дискурса позволяет ораторам пользоваться смысловыми приращениями (спонтанно возникающими в ходе развития смысловой системы) для достижения своих коммуникативных целей.

En Estados Unidos periódicamente se reúnen historiadores para escuchar las revisiones que colegas proponen y decidir sobre ellas.

In this article we will analyze how political actors involved in the presidential TV debates use certain semiotic strategies to manage the relationship between gestures and their ideological orientation. We developed a multimodal analysis for some relevant sequences during the presidential debates from November 2014. For this purpose, we used a Multimodal Professional Analysis Tool, ELAN, which allowed us the annotation and dynamic analysis of the semiotic behavior of the political actors involved in the analyzed sequences.

The discourse of identity/difference has been instrumental in the formation and legitimization of the most important modern communities, whether national, supranational (like European Union), diasporic or intranational (minorities). In addition, it pervades both postcolonial notions of 'third' spaces and hybridity and New Right identitarianism. To disengage from the discourse of identity/difference, which ineluctably raises the specter of cultural essentialism, we propose to rethink the issues of community and rights, belonging and togetherness based on the notion of 'public culture', conceptualized by Appadurai as a "zone of cultural debate"; an arena where different "types, forms and domains of culture are encountering, interrogating and contesting each other." Understood as the intrinsically heterogeneous and contested terrain encompassing both policy and cultural representations, the arts and everyday social interaction, moral spaces and forms of life, the problematic of public culture highlights the inherently challenging but also explorative and experimental nature of 'commonness,' of 'living together.'

На примере текстов украинского политолога, эксперта в сфере национальной безопасности и обороны Н.В. Сунгуровского, опубликованных в 2017–2019 гг., впервые продемонстрировано применение авторской методики контент-анализа для определения политической картины мира индивида. Исследование заключается в последовательном проведении политико-семантического, политико-лингвистического и жанрового анализа публикаций эксперта. Это позволяет выявить специфику восприятия им отдельных действующих лиц мировой политики (прежде всего коллективного «Запада», России и Украины) и отношений между ними; получить дополнительную информацию об эксперте, степени его вовлечѐнности в тему, используемых им манипулятивных приѐмах. Применение данной методики в политологических исследованиях экспертного дискурса будет способствовать созданию дискурсивных портретов (профилей) экспертов-политологов, а также получению более глубокой информации об экспертном сообществе и политической экспертизе.

General evaluation meanings are considered universal and capable of penetrating into any speech expression. On this basis, the possibility of constructing a functionalsemantic field of evaluation is denied; instead, it is proposed to focus on the means – in particular, syntactic constructions – that facilitate the expression of evaluative meanings. As one of such means, a construction with a relatively young conjunction togda kak ‘whereas’ functioning in a juxtaposition sense as a coordinate one, is considered. The structure of the juxtaposition meaning is considered. It is shown that the condition licensing the occurrence of an assessment accompanying juxtaposition is the scalar character of the feature, according to which two situations are juxtaposed: if the values of this feature can be located on a certain scale, then the scale ranges are
easily assigned general assessment values ‘good’ vs ‘bad’. It is emphasized that, according to the materials of the concordance of structures with the togda kak conjunction, in most of the modern Russian comparative statements estimated values are present.

This article offers a comparative analysis of the construction of political scenes of representation by two former Argentine presidents, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner (2008-2015) and Mauricio Macri (2015-2019), based on televised speeches and social media postings. As there is no political representation without staging, and any staging needs a material surface for its deployment, the comparative reconstruction of scenes of representation is required for understanding the impact of socio-technological transformations in the political field. Our analysis assumes that the political dramaturgy of representation entails: (a) that the leader must show a way of connecting with his constituents; (b) therefore, the leader must configure a preferred political subject (i.e., a predominant form of figurative citizenry); and (c) that this configuration constitutes a possible portion of the entire population that can be represented. The rationales behind design are dissimilar to those behind art. Establishing an adequate theoretical foundation for conducting design education can facilitate scientising design methods. Thus, from the perspectives of the semiotic theories proposed by Saussure and Peirce, we investigated graphic design curricula by performing teaching experiments, verifying the adequacy of applying these theories to poster design. During the teaching experiment, a matched groups design method was used for assigning 30 students to either an experimental group or a control group. The results of the experiment revealed that compared with the control group students, the experimental group students, who applied the semiotic theories to their poster designs, performed more favourably in image creativity, picture aesthetic, typography, and total poster design score. The posters created by the students were submitted to International Triennial of Ecological Posters 'the 4th Block', and a total of 4 creations from the experimental group were accepted. The results of the teaching experiment verify that applying semiotic theories to graphic design curricula facilitates improving student ability to observe objects and cultivating their capability to design posters and reinforce the visual tension in the posters.

Целью настоящей работы является исследование особенностей использования политиком в своей речи служебных и номинативных лексических единиц для выявления прагмалингвистических особенностей его языковой личности. Основной гипотезой исследования является предположение о том, что при всей совокупности экстралингвистических факторов, сопутствующих коммуникативным ситуациям, вербальное поведение политика является детерминирующим фактором его успеха или провала. В статье дается теоретико-методологическое обоснование «прагмасемантического анализа» идиостиля политического деятеля, предлагается классификация его категорий, указывается значимость «кластерного» подхода к изучению речевых единиц лексического и синтаксического уровня, проводится параметрия семиотического поля «социально-статусного типа языковой личности». В данной статье на материале избранных речей американского Президента Ричарда Никсона уточняется теоретико-методологическое обоснование «социально-статусного типа языковой личности». Отмечается, что детерминирующим фактором в процессе формирования и модифицирования данного типа ЯЛ является наличие стрессовых или околострессовых ситуаций. Используя в качестве наиболее показательного репрезентанта этого типа ЯЛ первое лицо страны, предпринимается попытка вычленения некоторых категорий для изучения вербального поведения ЯЛ. Основным методом для проведения настоящего исследования выбирается «прагмасемантический анализ языковой личности политического деятеля». Его суть заключается в том, чтобы с помощью программы контент-анализа LIWC (Linguistic Inquiryand Word Count), одного из способов проведения количественных измерений лексико-синтаксического наполнения текста, и подходов качественного анализа, таких как чтение биографий, мемуаров и речей конкретного политика, выйти на понимание того, как могут взаимодействовать такие разные грамматические категории, как лицо местоимений, время глагола, функциональные и вспомогательные глаголы, артикли, предлоги, числительные и др. в определении таких многозначительных категорий, как оптимизм/удрученность, дипломатичность/агрессивность, слог президента / слог человека, не наделенного властью, мышление аналитического/динамического/нарративного склада, социолингвистических параметров (напр., половозрастные и гендерные особенности, принадлежность к определенной общности). Эмпирической базой исследования являются три судьбоносные речи в карьере Президента Р. Никсона-The Checkers Speech (1952), The Great Silent Majority Speech (1969) и The First Watergate Address (1973). С помощью указанного метода анализа делается вывод о том, что при всей оптимистичности своего характера, политическом опыте, умении действовать в кризисных ситуациях, коммуникативные стратегии и тактики, выбираемые Ричардом Никсоном для манипулирования массовым сознанием, оказывались действенными только до тех пор, пока политику удавалось убеждать слушателей его выступлений в том, что он говорит правду. В связи с чем одним из выводов данной статьи является то, что она ставит вопрос о необходимости более серьезного изучения лексико-синтаксических или дискурсивных маркеров правды и лжи в речи политика. Данный вопрос, как выяснилось, не в последнюю очередь связан с проблемой авторства политического выступления. This review analyses The Political Discourse of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth: Terms and Ideas, a monograph written by Anna Grześkowiak-Krwawicz. The work describes the main concepts of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth’s political language between 1569 and 1795. The study is mostly based on political literature, i. e. theoretical treatises and works devoted to relevant issues of the political life of the state. The author makes an attempt to create her own methodological approach, which consists of describing the political discourse of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth by analysing its basic concepts, i. e. “Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth”, “law”, “freedom”, “forma mixta” and “separation of powers”, “consent”, “virtue”, “patriotism”, and “ancientry”. The article concentrates on the possibilities of bringing into dialogue two different theoretical frameworks for conceptualising social reality and power: those proposed by Ernesto Laclau, one of the leading current theorists of hegemony, and Juri Lotman, a path breaking cultural theorist. We argue that these two models contain several concepts that despite their different verbal expressions play exactly the same functional role in both theories. In this article, however, we put special emphasis on the problem of naming for both theorists. We propose to see naming as one of the central translating strategies in the politico-hegemonic discourse. Our main thesis is that through substituting some central categories of Laclau's theory with those of Lotman's, it is possible to develop a model of hegemony that is a better tool for empirical study of power relations in given social formations than the model proposed by Laclau, who in his later works tends more and more to ground it in psychoanalytic ontology.

As there is no political representation without staging, and any staging needs a material surface for its deployment, the comparative reconstruction of scenes of representation is required for understanding the impact of socio-technological transformations in the political field. Biosemiotics and the analysis of biopower have not yet been explicitly brought together. This article attempts to find their connecting points from the perspective of biosemiotics. It uses the biosemiotic understanding of the different types of semiosis in order to approach the practices of biopower and biopolitics. The central concept of the paper is that of the ‘semiotic threshold’. We can speak of (1) the lower semiotic threshold, signifying the dividing line between non-semiosis and semiosis; and (2) the secondary semiotic thresholds, signifying the borders between different types (iconic, indexical, symbolic) of semiosis. The article analyzes the relevance and effectiveness of the semiotic approach to solving economic problems. This is still often "terra incognita" for economists-despite the fruitfulness of the actual use of the developed semiotic methodology to ensure the reliability of the results (including the correctness of the use of mathematical apparatus) in dozens of specific studies. These include the calculation and analysis of indicators of efficiency (or practical inefficiency) of social policy. Modern media have become an important ideological tool in conveying and forming a certain view of the world and attitude towards it. While complying with the interests of the power structures, they shape public opinion by means of increasingly sophisticated media technologies and techniques. The article introduces multilevel means of creating ambiguity of a media text: verbs with the semantic component 'without proof', lexical units with semantics of uncertainty, means of expressing epistemic modality, interrogative headings, etc. The regular use of these means observed in the media enables the author to consider ambiguity as one efficient strategy of public opinion manipulation. Wizerunek Jarosława Kaczyńskiego w dyskursie politycznym polskiej publicystyki (na materiale tygodników opinii) W artykule została przedstawiona semantyczna struktura pozytywnego i negatywnego wizerunku jednego z najbardziej popularnych polskich polityków ostatnich kilkunastu lat – Jarosława Kaczyńskiego, na materiale narracji politycznych dwóch konkurujących ze sobą tygodników opinii - „Newsweek Polska” i „Sieci”. Wizerunek w tym ujęciu jawi się jako złożony konstrukt semantyczny, składający się z co najmniej kilku prezentacji semantycznych, skoncentrowanych wokół tzw. etykiet (bazowych nominacji). СВОИ» И «ЧУЖИЕ» В ПОЛИТИЧЕСКОМ ДИСКУРСЕ: ИНСТРУМЕНТАЛЬНАЯ ФУНКЦИЯ «ЧУЖОГО» В АМЕРИКАНСКОЙ ПРЕЗИДЕНТСКОЙ РИТОРИКЕ Исследуется инструментальная функция создания образа чужого в американской президентской риторике конфронтационного типа. Для достижения данной цели был проведен анализ текстов выступлений Д. Трампа и Дж.У. Буша. В процессе анализа демонстрируется, что в текстах осуществляется развертывание двух взаимозависимых коммуникативных стратегийсоздания образа чужого и обоснования политического решения. Обсуждение результатов позволяет поставить вопрос о возможной мере интерпретативности текстоориентированных исследований и дальнейшем развитии лингвистической науки в этом направлении. In a region where personalistic politics and charismatic leaders have long been a characteristic of the political landscape, there has been little research exploring the relationship between individuals’ identification with leaders and its relationship with political participation. Using original survey data from Argentina in 2016, the findings from this study demonstrate a few key points. Firstly, that identities form around political leaders and that identification plays an important role in political participation. Secondly, while personal identification with a leader is related with atomized and collective participation, the relationship between collective identification that is shared with other supporters of the political leader and both types of participation is even stronger. Additionally, these identification measures are more strongly associated with political action in support of a leader than frequently used variables such as partisan identification and ideology. This suggests that the study of political participation, especially in those contexts with more personalized political systems such as are often found in Latin America, should not ignore the role of personal and especially group leader-based identity.
