This research was conducted with the aim of finding out how the Millennial Generation Employee Development Strategy at the Makassar Branch of the BPJS Kesehatan Office. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method. This study uses primary data and secondary data. Collecting data through observation, documentation and triangulation methods. The analysis method used is Data Reduction, Data Display and Data Verification. The results showed that creativity, commitment, communication and intention to quit were quite different from the previous generation, especially in the dominant factors of communication and creativity.

Text messages and emails permeate the novels of contemporary Irish author Sally Rooney, shaping the ways in which characters relate to one another while also reflecting the globalization of Irish society through the medium of digitalization. In light of the socialist political positions that some of her principal characters adopt, this article examines digital communication in Conversations with Friends and Normal People with reference to certain concepts of Marx. I address online modes of communication in both novels in terms of Marx’s understanding of relations between workers and machines in the industrial era, Christian Fuchs’ re-articulation of his ideas for the age of digital capitalism, and the critique of empty universalism that Marx directs against the modern liberal-democratic political state. I examine Rooney’s narration of tensions between rural/small-town and urban life in Ireland as part of the online environment through which she addresses these issues. Observing the significance of Edna O’Brien’s The Country Girls (1960) to her first two novels, I stress how important local Irish attachments are to Rooney’s fiction, both as a means of resisting empty universalism and as testimony to human exploitation in the present age of digital capitalism.

This study is aimed at examining the impact of work mutations on work stress, as well as on employee performance. Having seen the differences in the phenomenon that occurs between female employees and male employees. The respondents were included in this study were 108 millennial employees of Dental Clinic Centre, consisting of 68 women and 40 men. The technique of data analysis used is WrapPLS. The results of the study indicate that work mutations have a negative impact on work stress, as well as work stress negatively affects performance. Work stress furthermore mediates the impact of work mutations on employee performance. It’s also found that there were differences between men and women in facing the work mutations that occurred. The employee of men is found to be calmer and not stressed in facing the work mutations that occur, while women are the opposite.

Purpose: Stress is a universal and common challenge to organization and employee productivity, it is the reality of hybrid workplace, wherein, stress is usually a life event or external pressure that has come to the person’s attention. Some of the more serious life events for Gen Y employees include being laid off work, bereavement and illness. Stress at work has detrimental effect on the behavior of millennial employees, which results in personal and organizational inefficiency. Job stress can be described as a condition where job-related factors interact with the worker to change his or her psychological and physiological conditions, so that Gen Y employees mind and/or body is forced to deviate from its normal way of functioning. Even though the introduction of hybrid workforce provides lot of flexibility to the millennial employees to work from their comfortable and desired place, the impact of stress on hybrid Gen Y employees are too significant. With the proper reviews of literature it is been identified that hybrid Gen Y employees feels the impact of stress on them.
Variables: High error rate, poor quality of work, decreased performance, low morale, and emotional disorder are the major impact of stress on Hybrid Gen Y Employees of IT sector. Understanding the impact of stress on Gen Y employees is very important and addressing them for the betterment of hybrid organization is a primary concern. Hence the researcher’s paper attempts to examine the impact of job related stress on hybrid Gen Y employees and their performance.
Research Methodology: The proposed research work is based on quantitative research type and the design being conclusive in nature and the designed structured questionnaire are close ended and they are in the form of 5 points Likert’s scale, which includes demographic factors and variables related factors to study the impact of stress on hybrid Gen Y employees.
Data Collection and Sampling: The primary data are collected from 60 hybrid Gen YIT employees working in Mysore city by using convenient sampling technique.
Analysis and Interpretation: Primary objective of the research is to examine the impact of stress on hybrid Gen Y employees of IT sector and also the significance of stress on the key variable identified. The analysis of the research work is carried out with the help of SPSS-21 software, wherein, each tools selected will have their own significance on the study.
Results: From the research it is found that, stress has high amount of significant impact on high error rate, poor quality of work, decreased performance, low morale, and emotional disorder of Hybrid Gen Y IT Employees.

With the onset of COVID-19, our communal way of life at work turned turtle, and before we knew it, remote working promptly took over as isolation rules were ordained across the world. A hybrid work schedule combine on-premise and remote models and creates a unique (and more flexible) environment - one where team members alternate time in the office with a bit of remote work. Hybrid work is a flexible work model that supports a blend of in-office, remote, and on-the-go workers. It offers employees the autonomy to choose to work wherever and however they are most productive.

Differences in work values and motivation are believed to be at the root of many of the preconceptions about millennials. Having an understanding of these aspects considered critical. Thus, the goal of this research is to look into the impact of millennial employee motivation and retention in the tourism business in the United Kingdom. It tries to figure out what factors influence millennial employee motivation. It also attempts to examine the relationship between millennial employee retention and motivating strategies. The study will also look at the most successful motivational strategies for millennial employee retention, as well as the major elements that are impacted by low millennial employee motivation. However, because this is a qualitative study, secondary data from previous research studies will be used to reach the conclusions. Finally, it has been acknowledged that millennial employee motivation plays a significant part in their retention.

Starting from a literature review on the complex reality of Internet of Things (IoT) or Internet de las Cosas, we can conclude that there are numerous works at the theoretical level, but none of research that contrasts what are the main obstacles or incentives to their acceptance by the population. The study investigates the Personality Traits, Organizational Climate, Leadership Style and Job Satisfaction of Selected Government Employees in Aurora Zamboangadel Sur and determined the extent relationship among the investigated variables. Descriptive correlational study design was used using survey questionnaires. The respondents were randomly and purposively selected based on their willingness and availability. Findings revealed that most of them are young leaders, female, graduate degree, below ten years of experience and with average salary rate. Results also showed that the selected personal profile of the respondents are significantly correlated to their personality traits, organizational climate, leadership styles and job satisfaction. Moreover, their personality traits influence significantly to their leadership styles and the leadership styles are significantly affects the organizational climate and job satisfaction of the respondents and the other employees. Thus, it is concluded that every leader should evaluate their personality traits and leadership styles and make some precautions and or changes when it comes to maintain favorable organizational climate, working environment and job satisfaction of all employees.

It is surprising how one generation can be unmindful of another generation's lived reality and challenges. How well do the Baby boomers (born between 1946 and 1964) and Generation X (or Gen X, born between 1965 and 1980) understand the lived reality of the millennials (Generation Y or Gen Y, born between 1981 and 1996)? Surely, boomers and Gen X's would benefit from understanding millennials and their upbringing, cultural conditioning, and expectations. Anne Helen Petersen's Can't Even: How Millennials Became the Burnout Generation is a good starting point in this understanding. The book's central theme is the feeling of millennials' "burnout" in the face of growing up, securing a career, and raising children. "Can't even" means one is emotionally overwhelmed. Petersen explores five topics: (i) the conditioning of the millennials by their boomer parents, (ii) millennials' expectations of college and university, (iii) internships and graduate employment and careers, (iv) leisure and free time, and (v) parenthood. Petersen investigates the millennials' "burnout" and opportunities and challenges in the broader context of late capitalism (neoliberal ideology) and global events (the 2003 Iraq War, the 2008 recession, and the COVID-19 pandemic). Overall, the book highlights that a balanced and quality life for millennials requires intergenerational understanding and government policies to enable them to experience the "good life".

Every year, for over three decades, Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario has participated with other local educational institutions in providing a week-long instruction program that introduces young students to higher education. Highly motivated participants in grades 8-11 and numbering over 3,000 attend from several school boards in both eastern Ontario and western Quebec. The Enriched Mini Course Program has become an important recruitment tool for each institution, and at Carleton University, over 50 enriched mini courses are offered including one recent addition by the MacOdrum library staff. In this article, the author recounts how leading an enriched mini course for millennials in the university library's new Discovery Centre is an innovative initiative that demonstrates the significance of the academic library in the local community, and how staff collaboration helps to develop team building and positive vibes with the millennials.

The report summarizes findings of action research conducted among students (n = 96) at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Al Musannah (UTAS-A) about their perception of using MS Teams for online lessons based on principles of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A 5point Likert scale survey questionnaire was used to collect quantitative data, and some qualitative data was also collected as part of the survey to know learners’ general opinion on issues that are not covered in Likert scale questions. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics and triangulated with qualitative data findings for interpretation. Simulation in its various forms has developed extensively over the past 15-20 years for use in undergraduate nursing programs. The widespread integration of technology-based educational tools into nursing curricula is raising concerns that technology rather than sound philosophically-based pedagogy is informing nursing education. Some believe that educational soundness has been overtaken by a focus on technological prowess. The manikins used in this immersive classroom often breathe, blink, and even speak in response to lecturer-controlled commands. This research explores how Millennials as a generational cohort (18-30 years of age) interface with the teaching/learning platform of simulation. This action research study is unfolded in three distinct action cycles involving 161 undergraduate nursing students. Millennial characteristics of confidence, high achievement, team orientation, technology focus, feedback-saturated, and trophy-seeking traits make them especially adept in immersive simulation environment. If supported by appropriate philosophical underpinnings, simulation as a teaching/learning platform has the potential to become the preferred classroom for Millennial nursing students.

We assessed girls' and boys' attitudes towards computers in general, and their use and enjoyment of computers for specific purposes. In addition, we obtained their self-evaluation against their ideal self, their prototype of a child who would be very good at computer-based tasks, and against their gender stereotypes (both own and other gender). The results showed no gender effects on the nomothetic global attitude scale. Significant gender effects appeared for the specific computer uses and the idiographic measures. Further, positive attitudes towards computers on the global nomothetic measure were related to less gendered idiographic perception of computer use. Confidence in global computer use was related to more gendered perception of computer use. The findings are discussed in terms of the complex ways in which social-cognitive biases are gendered, and the need to differentiate between different forms of computer use.

After the Celtic Tiger years, Irish society seems to have transitioned into a much more welcoming environment for the production of literature, and in general, for the arts. The proliferation of literature, and, more specifically, of women writers and portrayals of girlhood, is giving way to a significant visualization of female voices and female issues, Sally Rooney being one of those voices. Therefore, in this paper I aim to analyse her contribution to the current Irish literary landscape through her novels Conversations with Friends (2017) and Normal People (2018), where sex and female sexuality become two of the major themes. Trauma, guilt and shame (Free and Scully 2016), as key traits of recessionary Irish identity, will also be taken into account by looking into Rooney's characters' attitudes as they perform their own sexuality. Hence, both the advantage of a higher social awareness of female issues and the disadvantage of an ashamed Post-Celtic Tiger society mix, thus influencing the representation of 21 st century Irish female sexuality, and also creating a definitely contradicted society (Crowley 2013), where social advances keep pushing forward while post-boom trauma and self-regulation keep them back.

This article aims at developing an efficient measurement scale for corporate social responsibility in the tourism industry, given the contextual character that is recognized in the practice of this construct. Indicators were generated on the basis of a literature review and qualitative research. To assess the reliability and validity, first and second-order confirmatory factor analysis were carried out. Results show a multidimensional structure of this construct, including economic, social and environmental issues. This study contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the field of social responsibility through its practical application regarding concepts of sustainable development which have mainly been theoretical.

Attorneys suffer from high rates of stress and mental health problems, and Black attorneys, who make up only five percent of all attorneys in the United States, are especially vulnerable due to underrepresentation and experiences of bias. The present study examined perceived stress as a mediator of the impostor phenomenon, race-related stress, and mental health among a sample of 142 Black attorneys (114 women, 25 men). Gender, age, impostor phenomenon, race-related stress, and perceived stress accounted for 51% and 57% of the variance in depression and anxiety, respectively. Perceived stress fully mediated the links between the impostor phenomenon and depression, cultural racism and depression, and impostor feelings and anxiety and partially mediated the link between cultural racism and anxiety. Results suggest that perceived stress is an important mechanism for understanding why the impostor phenomenon and race-related stress negatively impact the mental health of Black attorneys.

This study study describes and analyzes the notion of wasatiyyah Islam, which explains the millennial generation of wasatiyyah Islam. Islamic wasatiyyah must be taken from the clerical explanation, so as not to trigger 'missunderstanding' and intolerant attitude that damages the image of Islam itself. This chapter draws on care ethics and vulnerability theory to explore Sally Rooney’s Conversations with Friends (2017) and Normal People (2018) as novels that delve into contexts of silence and dysfunction in the lives of Irish millennials who experience their vulnerability as unspeakable, as a sign of weakness and abnormality in a competitive, individualistic world. The analysis details the ways in which Rooney’s characters adopt strategies such as passing, concealment and ironic distance, and how their anxieties highlight the injustices and contradictions of their neoliberal culture. This chapter ultimately argues that, even though in both novels plot events foreground the lies, omissions and frustrations of dysfunctional silences, a silence of refusal progressively emerges whereby Rooney’s protagonists evade social expectations, abandon previous pretences and begin to establish a more honest and caring relationship with their significant others.

This study examines the interconnection between organizational culture, leadership behaviour and organizational success and create an empirical link based on data drawn from one of Nigeria's Cement Manufacturing Companies. This research was conducted using the quantitative method across the staff in the selected company. Semi-structured questionnaires were distributed to a population sample of 63 participants. From the results, there exists a significant relationship between these three elements while the organizational cultural type and style of leadership enforces the existing relationship. It was discovered that organizational culture which refers to the beliefs and values that have existed in an organization for a long time, and to the beliefs of the staff and the foreseen value of their work that will influence their attitudes and behaviour. We established that administrators or top management officers tend to modify their leadership behaviour to achieve the organization's goals which in turn often influence job satisfaction on the part of the employee. It was also ascertained that there was a positive link between organization culture, leadership behaviour and organizational success. Findings also revealed that the culture of the organization has a two-way effect on the success of the organization, likewise the leadership traits and behaviour.

The Millenial Generation, also known as Generation Y, has come to prominence as a heavy user of Mobile Banking, with special evidence of one of the Apps, MB Way, which emerged about 3 years ago and enjoys a high profile among this audience. In this context, this study aims to identify the degree of importance of the factors, utility, ease, safety and reuse of MB Way services previously identified with the Millennial generation. Based on a quantitative study, 211 responses were analyzed and the results confirm that generation Y uses MB Way intensively and that the factors mentioned are relevant to the use of this Application.
