Ecoturism

O crescimento da atividade turística ao longo dos últimos anos é um dos fenômenos culturais, econômicos e sociais mais significativos de todos os tempos. A intensificação das viagens passou a influenciar a expansão turística de regiões, antes pouco exploradas, principalmente, as zonas rurais, fazendo surgir um maior interesse pelo turismo de contato com a natureza.
O Pantanal brasileiro é um exemplo desta ascensão do turismo rural. Trata-se de uma região de fauna e flora abastada, onde o turismo cresce sistémica e progressivamente, todavia a infraestrutura hoteleira é ainda precária, principalmente nas cidades pequenas, o que dificulta a visitação dessas áreas.
Quando bem planejados, os hotéis são capazes de impulsionar o turismo para uma região, de estimular atividades culturais e econômicas, de apoiar os comerciantes locais e de gerar empregos.
Isto posto, o presente trabalho pretende estudar as necessidades de uma região específica, Bodoquena, localizada no Pantanal Sul Mato-Grossense, e propor solução – na forma de projeto arquitetônico – para estimular o turismo nesta região. O projeto contempla a hospitalidade, através da zona hoteleira, a educação e formação profissional, através da escola de hotelaria e o lazer, através do ecoparque.


The great rise of tourist activity over the last few decades is one of the most remarkable economic, social and cultural phenomena of all time. The increase in travel has influenced tourism growth in previously unexplored regions, especially in rural areas, giving rise to a greater interest in tourism in contact with nature.
The Brazilian Pantanal is an example of this rise of rural tourism. It is a region of abundant fauna and flora, where tourism has been growing, but the hotel infrastructure is still weak, especially in small towns, which makes it difficult to visit these areas.
When well planned, hotels are able to promote tourism to a region, support local merchants, generate Jobs and stimulate cultural and economic activities.
In this way, this work intends to study the needs of a specific region, Bodoquena, located in the Pantanal, and propose a solution - in the form of an architectural project – to boost tourism in this region. The project includes hospitality through the hotel zone, education and vocational training through the hotel school and leisure through the ecopark.

Caminar es algo tan antiguo como la misma especie humana. En cambio, caminar por
gusto, sin necesidad de hacerlo, y como fenómeno social, es algo mucho más reciente. La esencia del senderismo es precisamente esa: caminar por placer.

El senderismo, como fenómeno, nació estrechamente vinculado al contexto de los
deportes de montaña y a las asociaciones y federaciones que agrupan a sus practicantes.

Por otro lado, la propia actividad, y especialmente el marcaje de itinerarios, no pueden
entenderse sin atender al auge del turismo rural y a sus políticas de promoción, generalmente en el marco de proyectos de desarrollo rural.

En la Sierra de Santa Marta (Veracruz, México), décadas de intervenciones de las políticas públicas han dejado como secuela actitudes de dependencia, en contraparte de un paternalismo exacerbado, que dejaba fuera a las comunidades locales de las decisiones que afectaban a su futuro, así como un grave deterioro de la biodiversidad original del medio ecocultural. En consecuencia, la pobreza, la presión antrópica sobre los recursos naturales endógenos, la vulnerabilidad y, por ende, los procesos de emigración-expulsión de la población local, son fenómenos que recientemente adquieren gran trascendencia.

En este contexto, se han ido abriendo paso distintos enfoques que cuestionan ideas acerca del desarrollo convencional hegemónico, eurocéntrico y neocolonialista. Es el caso de los postulados de modelos de desarrollo emergentes como participación, empoderamiento, etnodesarrollo, las teorías posibilistas de Ostrom para el gobierno de los recursos de uso común (RUC), ecología política, agroecología, diálogo/ecología de saberes, interculturalidad o sustentabilidad integral.

Así, a partir de la implementación de una metodología de investigación cualitativa con enfoque de(s)colonial, se han registrado y analizado un conjunto de incipientes y heterogéneos proyectos de gestión de recursos naturales, agrosilvopastoriles, pesqueros y ecoturísticos en las comunidades indígenas campesinas de Nahuas y Popolucas de la Sierra de Santa Marta y su entorno geográfico, la Reserva de la Biosfera de Los Tuxtlas, puestos en marcha a partir de los años noventa por diferentes organizaciones civiles y no gubernamentales, emanadas del movimiento del ambientalismo social mexicano, en colaboración directa y participativa con la población campesina local. Entre los principales objetivos de este trabajo se encuentra el relacionar las prácticas de estos proyectos con los postulados de los modelos de desarrollo emergentes citados con anterioridad.

Dentro de los principales resultados del abordaje metodológico implementado en esta investigación, las nociones posdesarrollistas anteriores asumidas por estos proyectos, que se concretan en los discursos y las prácticas de algunos movimientos sociales, de ONG y otras asociaciones civiles, de un sector del mundo académico vinculado a éstas, y de la población local del área objeto de estudio, se revelan como un ejemplo posible de buenas prácticas socio-espaciales emergentes en la gestión de recursos naturales ecoturísticos que hasta cierto punto, y
partiendo de una emergente alianza estratégica de saberes locales indígenas campesinos y conocimientos científicos-técnicos o expertos para la colaboración social intercultural, contribuyen a avanzar en la construcción de un modelo de desarrollo alternativo con capacidad de contribuir a la lucha por mejorar la precaria realidad –ecológica, demográfica, económica y sociocultural- de los territorios tropicales mesoamericanos y de las poblaciones indígenas campesinas que ancestralmente los habitan.

Rawa merupakan kawasan yang tergenang oleh air baik oleh air hujan maupun oleh pasang surut. Rawa sebagai sumber air, dikuasai oleh negara dan dikelola secara menyeluruh, terpadu, dan berwawasan lingkungan dengan tujuan untuk mewujudkan kemanfaatan fungsi Rawa yang berkelanjutan dan mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Penguasaan rawa oleh negara sebagaimana dimaksud dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Pusat, pemerintah daerah provinsi, dan pemerintah daerah kabupaten/kota berdasarkan wilayah sungai.Pelaksanaan penguasaan rawa yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Pusat, pemerintah daerah provinsi, dan pemerintah daerah kabupaten/kota.

Proje ile; tarihi ve turistik yapısı, doğal çekicilikleri, yerel değerleri ile bünyesinde farklı ve güçlü potansiyelleri barındıran ilkler şehri Bergama’nın mevcut kültür turizmine alternatif olarak ekoturizm potansiyelinin ortaya çıkarılması amaçlanmıştır.
Projenin ilçe tabanına yayılmasının önemi de göz önüne alınarak, ilçedeki kamu, yerel yönetim ve sivil toplum kuruluşları ile birlikte ilçe sınırları içindeki toplam 72 köy muhtarı ile doğrudan görüşmelerin yanı sıra toplantı ve çalıştaylar gerçekleştirilmiştir.
Hazırlanan bu raporda, Bergama’nın ekoturizm potansiyelini ortaya koyabilecek haritalar çizilmiş, çizelgeler hazırlanmış ve potansiyel taşıyabilecek unsurlara ilişkin fotoğraflamalar yapılmıştır.

Spatio-temporal variation of the ichthyofauna in Xel-Ha, Mexican Caribbean Marine Park and its relationship to physico-chemical parameters. Xel-Ha is a private marine park where the extraction of flora and fauna is not allowed. Here, reef fish are one of the main touristic attractions, but there are no published surveys focused on fish community in this site. In this study we analyzed the spatio-temporal variation of the fish community in different areas of the marine park Xel-Há. Abundance and richness were estimated during one-year period (2012-2013); visual censuses using fixed transects of 100x5 m each distributed in 21 transects along five sites were established in different zones: " Bocana " , " Center " , " North branch " , " Cave " and " River " , including the inlet mouth to the sea, brackish mangrove channels and a zone with freshwater influence. To characterize the fish community, we used species richness, abundance, diversity, and density compared among zones and climatic seasons (rain, " norths " and dry). The similarity among zones and seasons was estimated using a multidimensional scaling analysis. The replacement on the species composition among seasons and sites was realized based on the presence-absence of fish. The influence of physicochemical variables such as temperature, salinity and dissolve oxygen concentration in the fish community was estimated by a principal component analysis. A total of 22 641 individuals were recorded corresponding to sixty-three species over the year. Abundance was higher during the windy season (locally named " norths ") with 7 991 organisms. The most representative species according with abundance and frequency of occurrence were: Haemulon sciurus, H. flavo-lineatum, Lutjanus griseus, Acanthurus coeruleus, Abudefduf saxatilis, and Gerres cinereus. Diversity increased from the rainy to the dry season; species richness and diversity was lower in " River " than other sites in Xel-Ha. Most species (54 %) species were residents through the year. Four non-shared species were observed during the rainy season and three in dry season. Dissolved oxygen was the most influential variable on the fish community composition among zones. Xel-Ha houses nearly 20 % of fish biodiversity reported for the mexican Caribbean, and the predominance of juveniles of several species confirms its role as a nursery area. Rev. Biol. Прикордонний регіон Румунія-Молдова-Україна має значний потенціал для
розвитку екотуризму: привабливі зони, парки та заповідні зони, традиційні культурні
ландшафти. Все це може створити привабливий, комфортний пейзаж і важливу для
екотуристів туристичну дестинацію.
Навіть якщо "займатися туризмом” видається легкою справою, забезпечення
якісних послуг в туризмі вимагає узгоджених зусиль кількох груп дійових осіб,
зацікавлених та важливих у розвитку туризму: місцеві адміністрації, адміністрації
природних парків, заклади культури, власники структур розміщення, туристичні
агенції, ремісники, асоціації, що займаються туризмом, навколишнім середовищем,
культурою, тощо.
Є можливим зробити все правильно, терпляче шукаючи шляхи розвитку, які не
мають агресивного впливу на середовище, в якому ми ведемо бізнес. Все це
представлено в даному посібнику: опис способів розвитку структур розміщення з
повагою до навколишнього середовища і принципів екотуризму.

RESUMO: Este texto introduz algumas reflexões acerca da legislação ambiental existente,
focada aos parques nacionais. Aborda uma perspectiva histórica do desenvolvimento
das práticas preservacionistas das unidades de conservação mundiais, assim
como o desenvolvimento da legislação ambiental do Brasil, e a contribuição da atividade
turística sustentável na preservação e manutenção das aéreas protegidas.

ABSTRACT: This text introduces some reflections on the existing environment legislation,
with approach to the national parks. This is a historical perspective of the
development of the preservationist practical of conservation unit in, as well as the
development of the environment legislation in Brazil, and the contribution of the sustainable
tourist activity in the preservation and maintenance of the protected area.

Resumo de pesquisa realizada em março de 2015 com 88 gestores de RPPNs (Reservas Privadas de Patrimônio Natural, uma unidade de conservação do SNUC) e uma estratégia de ação para mobilizar, capacitar e desenvolver atividades de turismo sustentável em 1.260 RPPNs que preservam 760.000 hectares de 9 diferentes biomas.

Nowadays, the business of ecotourism and rural tourism is a very important activity for many inland areas, enabling them to both produce important income and sustain the rural economy. Moreover, sustainable tourism is included in the UN 17th Sustainable Development Goal, which is to be achieved by 2030 (SDG 8.9 and SDG 12). Recent progress in digital tourism promises to deliver important changes to this activity, but most of this progress is addressed at well-known tourist destinations, so not dealing with the challenge of inland, rural and ecotourism. It is within this framework that this paper attempts to demonstrate that a new type of geoSpatial Decision Support System (S-DSS), developed on a Geospatial Cyberinfrastructure (GCI) and with a substantial interdisciplinary core, could provide a valuable web-based operational tool which may be offered to both ecotourism and rural tourism end-users, planners and policy makers, so that they might better plan and manage this type of sustainable tourism. The S-DSS platform has also been designed to encourage use by the multi-user community (farmers, tourism enterprises, associations and public bodies). The methodology is linked to the creation of a GCI platform (www.landsupport.eu) that supports the acquisition, management, processing and analysis of both static (e.g. soil, geology) and dynamic data (e.g. environmental and daily climatic data), together with data visualization and computer on-the-fly applications, in order to perform modelling, all of which is potentially accessible via the Web. The S-DSS tool known as EcoSmarTour is demonstrated through a case study of the Campania region (South Italy) and, by connecting database and modelling, it aims to deliver a large amount of information that will improve knowledge of the territory, manage scenario analysis, produce maps and evaluate potential ecotourism footpaths or areas of interest, thus enabling the provision of better information on the entire ecotourism sector. The tool will also be demonstrated through reference to a short selection of additional use cases from elsewhere in Europe. Most importantly, the approach adopted is highly transferable because it relies on very general algorithms that can be easily applied wherever the necessary data are available.

Розглянуто питання модернізації туристичного господарства, розширення спектра туристичних пропозицій та розбудови туристичної інфраструктури Ужанського НПП у контексті вимог сталого розвитку. Серед форм туризму пріоритет надається екотуризму: освітньому, кваліфікаційному, краєзнавчому, етнографічному.

In this article the question of modernization of tourism economy is examined, as well as the issue of tourism expansion and the development of its infrastructure within the context of sustainable tourism requirement. Ecotourism has a priority over other forms of tourism: educational, qualification, ethnographical.

Öz Van Gölü'nün güneydoğu kesimindeki doğal değerleri konu alan bu çalışmanın amacı, bu alandaki jeomorfolojik oluşumların ekoturizm bakımından kullanım potansiyelini ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla, bölgedeki mevcut jeomorfolojik birimler haritalanmış, bu birimlerin jeolojik ve tektonik yapı ile ilişkisi kurulmuş, turizm potansiyeli değerlendirilmiştir. Van'ın Gürpınar, Bahçesaray ve Çatak ilçe sınırları içerisinde yer alan bölgede, flüvyal, karst, buzul, kıyı jeomorfolojisinin en güzel örneklerini görmek mümkündür. Bu bakımdan araştırma alanı, gerek bilimsel-teknik incelemeler, gerek rekreatif faaliyetler ve gerekse doğa sporları için önemli bir potansiyele sahiptir. Yüksek dağlık kesimlerin faylanmış dik yamaçlarla kıyı alanlarına bağlandığı araştırma alanı, aynı zamanda Akdamar Adası ve üzerinde yer alan Kilisesi ile de kültür ve inanç turizmine konu olmaktadır. Abstract The aim of this study which probes the natural assets in souhteast of the Van Lake, presents the potential of the geomorphological formations in the region in terms of ecotourism. For this purpose, the region's geomorphological formations were mapped, formations were linked to the gelogical and tectonic features and tourism potantial was evaluated. It is possible to see the most beautiful examples of fluvial, karstic, glacial and coastal geomorphology within Gürpınar, Bahçesaray and Çatak region. Therefore the study area has an important potential both for scientific-technical research, for recreative activities and for nature sports. The study area which lies from high mountains to the coastal zones is also an important cultural and religious tourism area where Akdamar Island and the Church located on it.

Kuş Gözlem Turizmi, eko turizmin bir dalı olarak gün geçtikçe artan bir gelişme göstermektedir. Bu bildiride temel olarak kuş gözlem turizminin öneminden ve gelişiminden, Adana ilinin bu alandaki potansiyelinden ve bu konuda atılması gereken adımlardan söz edilecektir. Kuş gözlem turizminin öneminden söz ederken Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nin Pennsylvania Eyaleti’nde bulunan Hawk Mountain Sanctuary’den elde edilen bazı ziyaretçi verilerinin değerlendirilmesi de bize rehberlik edecektir. Adana ilinin kuş gözlem potansiyeli için ise Adana ve çevresinde yaralı olarak ele geçen kuşların türleri tanımlanacak ve ekolojik olarak değerlendirilmeye çalışılacaktır. Kuş gözlem potansiyelinden bahsedilirken Adana İli sınırlarındaki habitat çeşitliliğinden, süzülen göçmen kuşların göç yollarından ve önemli kuş kayıtlarından da örnekler sunulacaktır. Atılması gereken adımlar ise Adana kentinin yansimasi olabilecek bir yerel bir kuş logosunun tasarlanması, Adana kuşlarının tanıtıldığı bir albüm oluşturulması ve alışılagelmiş bir Hayvanat Bahçesi doğaya salma için üretim ve rehabilitasyon eylemlerini de içeren bir yerel kuş merkezi yapılmasıdır.

Este artículo presenta un caso de negociación y disputa entre campesinos, funcionarios y empresarios por el despliegue de un proyecto de desarrollo sustentable en la Selva Lacandona: la instalación de un pequeño pero lujoso hotel ecoturístico en las inme-diaciones de Laguna Miramar. Aunque el proyecto Natura no se realizó, el proceso de discusión ocurrido entre 2010 y 2012 permite mostrar y analizar: a) la preeminencia en la región de las intervenciones ambientales y, con base en ello, los sentidos que pue-de tener el ecoturismo y el régimen de gobierno ambiental para las partes; b) los usos estratégicos del discurso del desarrollo sustentable que hacen los sujetos, mediante los cuales, en parte, debatieron el proyecto. Se trata de un texto eminentemente etnográfico que busca explorar las complejas relaciones de poder que pueden articularse en torno a intervenciones territoriales, enmarcadas en el régimen discursivo y práctico del desarro-llo sustentable.

El objetivo de este trabajo es elaborar una primera guía simplificada de plantas de importancia económica que se encuentra en senderos o trochas, la cual sera utilizada en programas de ecoturismo en el Albergue Estación-Científica  Sachavacayoc Centre y ademas contribuir a la conservación de las mismas.

Widely heralded as a driver of sustainable development, ecotourism is promoted using images of rural landscapes. But how important are the landscapes themselves in these tourism projects? Based on advertising by tour operators and trekking agencies on their websites and reviews by tourists posted on Tripadvisor®, we have identified the motivations on which landscape resources are based and analyzed the importance of forests and anthropogenic landscapes (formed by agricultural activity in particular) in attracting tourists. This study is based on an analysis of representations of forested landscapes in the Nam Ha National Protected Area, in the mountains of Northern Laos.

ÖZET Uzundere İlçesi doğal zenginliği, kültürel, tarihi ve rekreasyonel değerleri açısından Kuzeydoğu Anadolu Bölgesinin önemli turizm potansiyeline sahip yörelerindendir. Çok geniş kültürel mirasa ve doğal zenginliğe sahip olan ilçe yerli ve yabancı turistler için alternatif bir turizm bölgesi potansiyeline sahiptir. Bu çalışmada bölgedeki mevcut potansiyelin, bölgesel düzeyde turizme kaynak oluşturan değerler yönünden sınıflandırılması hedeflenmiştir. Araştırmada yöntem olarak SWOT Analizi tekniği kullanılmış, yörenin ekoturizm açısından güçlü ve zayıf yanları ile fırsatlar ve tehditler belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. SWOT Analizi, gözlemler ve yörede yapılan çalışmalar yardımı ile mevcut ve potansiyel turizm etkinlikleri değerlendirilmiş, sınıflandırılmış ve haritalanmıştır. Aktif turizm etkinlikleri (1) İnanç Turizmi Etkinlikleri, (2) Tortum Şelalesi ve Yıkıklar (Yedi Göller) Odaklı Etkinlikler, (3) Piknik Aktiviteleri, (4) Festival ve Şenlikler olarak belirlenmiştir. Potansiyel turizm etkinlikleri ise, (1) Botanik Turizmi, (2) Kuş Gözlemciliği, (3) Kelebek Gözlemciliği, (4) Yaban Hayatı Gözlemciliği, (5) Trekking, (6)Manzara Seyri, (7) Tortum Gölü'ne Dayalı Etkinlikler olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucu olarak yörede coğrafi, ekolojik ve sosyo-kültürel açıdan ekoturizme kaynak oluşturan önemli değerler bulunduğu ve yörenin sivil toplum, üniversite, yerel yönetim ve kamu yatırımları ile önemli bir ekoturizm merkezi olabileceği görüşü oluşmuştur.
