DAFNE

The study, developed in three parts, starting from the "corridor of Nazareth", is a contribution to try to formulate hypotheses concerning the place that may have hosted, albeit briefly, the Shroud and, subsequently or at the same time, the holy house of Theotokos. This research aims to reconstruct the ancient "Way of Angels", located between the Duchy of Athens, the Thessaly and the Epirus, one of the four itineraries-the third, in chronological order-followed by the transport of the holy house before his arrival in Loreto. It also aims to provide information on the disputed passage of the Shroud to Athens, highlighting the fundamental elements that unite the two relics (the Shroud and the holy house of Loreto). The study provides new evaluation terms in order to encourage the reflection and reconstruction of possible voids of history, to learn about the ancient fortresses of Thessaly, through the analysis and interpretation of the ancient symbols present in the monasteries and byzantine churches of the 12th and 13th centuries, milestones in the epic of the imperial family of the Comnenos and, later, of the Angel Ducas Comneno.

The article publishes the first "libretto" ever written. That is an unknown manuscript version of "Dafne" by Ottavio Rinuccini, the poet who then wrote "Euridice" (1600) the "opera in musica" staged at the wedding of Maria de' Medici and king Henry IV of France. The article, by analyzing the metric forms, reconsidering the theatrical genre, comparing the inedit text and what remains of its music, and shed new light on the cultural and social context which led to the birth of opera.

Im folgenden Beitrag werden Modelle für mehrsprachige Materialien (Englisch - Deutsch - Spanisch) zur Entwicklung der interkulturellen Kompetenz im schulischen Fremdsprachenunterricht, wobei Deutsch die zweite Fremdsprache nach Englisch ist. Die Materialien behandeln die Themen "Weihnachten" und "Taschengeld" auf der Grundlage von einfachen Texten in beiden Fremdsprachen.

Der Artikel behandelt die Grundlagen eines Curriculums für Deutsch als zweite Fremdsprache nach Englisch an argentinischen Sekundarschulen. Nach einer Darstellung der Lage des DaF-Unterrichts in Argentinien werden Leitsätze für den Unterricht von DaF als zweite Fremdsprache gelegt und mögliche Ziele und Inhalte dieses Unterrichts definiert. Dem folgen die Bereiche des Curriculums, in denen die englischen Vorkenntnisse genützt werden können: Grammatik, Lexik, Phonetik und Landeskunde. Der Artikel schließt mit den Implikationen eines mehrsprachig-kontrastiven Ansatzes und mit Überlegungen zu einer Neuerung in der Ausbildung von DaF-Lehrenden.

Second part of a two-section article that analyses the extensive reinterpretation of Daphne’s myth in the opera Daphne (1938) by composer Richard Strauss and librettist Joseph Gregor, who used
the version of the myth by Parthenius of Nicaea better than that by Ovid. Its ultimate aim is to examine Strauss’ statement about his new opera’s meaning and if the authors managed to achieve their objective by means of manipulating the mythical storyline.
Segunda parte de un artículo dividido en dos que analiza la profunda reinterpretación que del mito de Dafne llevaron a cabo, a partir del relato alternativo de Partenio de Nicea más que del relato canónico de Ovidio, Richard Strauss y su libretista Joseph Gregor en su versión operística Daphne (1938). El objetivo final es someter a examen la declaración expresa de Strauss sobre el significado de su nueva ópera y si a través de la manipulación del argumento mítico los autores
lograron alcanzar su objetivo.

Type 1 diabetes management is a highly demanding task that largely falls on people with diabetes, their family, and their peers. Diabetes self-management education and support aim at increasing knowledge, skills, and confidence to take appropriate diabetes management decisions. The current evidence shows that efficient diabetes selfmanagement relies on person-centered interventions and a team of pluri-disciplinary educators with expertise in diabetes care and education. The irruption of the COVID-19 pandemic has increased diabetes burden and the need to offer remote diabetes selfmanagement education services. The present article offers a perspective about expectations and quality issues related to the implementation of a remote version of the FIT course, a validated structured diabetes management educational program.
