The aim of this research was to identify, determine, evaluate and prioritize the factors influencing the personal brand pattern of authors of academic books in Iranian publishing industry in the field of library and information science. Materials and Methods: The methodology of this applied research was the analytical survey. The population of the research includes 122 out of 139 master degree students in the field of library and information science, entrancing in the public universities in Tehran in 2018. The data were collected through library studies and a questionnaire. In fact, previous studies and the documentary research method were used to review the fundamental factors influencing the personal branding of authors of academic books in Iranian publishing industry in the field of library and information science in order to design the questionnaire based on the research model. Research reliability was evaluated by Cronbach's alpha value that was 0.935 for investigation of factors influencing the personal brand and 0.921 for the personal competence. The collected data were analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistical methods by the SPSS and the Smart PLS softwares. Conclusion: The results showed that factors influencing the personal brand include the following components: cultural component (0.898), specialty (0.875) and social factor (0.620) respectively. The results of the current research indicate that the appropriate fitting of cultural, social and professional components is based on the individual competency components of authors.

Objective: This study aims to systematically investigate the use of partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) in sports management journals, and provide instructions and guidelines to apply this method. Methodology: This study is a systematic review, and secondary data was used. 183 studies of all PLS-SEM studies in 14 journals of sport management, published between 2020 and 2022, were analyzed in terms of reasons for using PLS-SEM, data characteristics, model characteristics, evaluation of measurement models, structural model evaluation, reporting, and using advanced analysis. Results: The results show that the researchers have indicated a few reasons to apply PLS-SEM, which majority of articles highlighted small sample size and lack of data normality. The results identified several issues in reporting the measurement model assessment, especially for measurement evaluation of second-order models. In addition, the findings show that most of studies have not considered reporting the advanced criteria for evaluating of structural model. Conclusion: The results of this study assist researchers, reviewers and editors of journals to be more mindful, in future studies regarding the reporting of the results using PLS-SEM and avoid incorrect conclusions.

The main purpose of the present study was to assess the effect of the students’ information sharing behavior in social network sites on different features of social capital. This research was an applied one for which survey method was employed. The population consisted of all the students studying at the universities in South Khorasan Province affiliated to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in the academic year of 1397-1398 (2018-2019). The students were supposed to have a minimum experience of six months in using one of the social network sites such as Telegram, Instagram or WhatsApp. The sample size was 384, which was calculated through the Cochran formula for the unknown population. This monograph provides new insights, through various complementary aspects of scientific elaboration, into correspondences and comparisons that haven’t been drawn before in the field of Italian studies at the intersection with comparative culture, established between three authorial personalities who have significantly marked modern and contemporary literature: Corrado Alvaro, Cristina Campo and Carlo Betocchi. In literary historical sense they are situated within the context of Italian modernism and theoretical factors attributable to it, while the enhancement for the research is found in the valorisation of their place in the canon, as well as their ideational lineage and anticipatory role regarding the tradition. After introducing common premises for the perusal of literary writings of Alvaro, Campo and Betocchi in the opening sequence of the monograph, in the form of unifying vision, the thematics is subsequently subdivided in three individual sections and studied by juxtaposition of these authors, through analytical, contrastive approach and close reading. Thus, thematic-stylistical counterparts in their respective oeuvres are identified. Interpretive mechanisms include detailed genre determination because these authors can be brought closer for comparisons, beside from artistic and intellectual field due to biographical entanglements, from the perspective of poetic subject. The latter manifests itself primarily in lyrical production, but also relates to poetical basis present in non-fictional narrative genres (essayistic, travel and epistolary literature), and as such represents the core of their works. From an aesthetic standpoint, the light is shed on the dichotomy between mythocreative and realistic component, capturing also the relation towards vanguard movements. Specifically, the Mediterranean as instrinsic model inscribed within Alvaro’s narrative experience is being explicated, and the focus is put as well on lyrical, dramatic and memorialistic forms. Furthermore, the monograph contributes to understanding of Campo as a prominent woman writer, whose composite distinctive style, permeated with the philosophical spirit and characterized incisively by metamorphic character, is also evocative of preoccupations typical of the epoch. Analogously, the attention is dedicated to discerning elements of Betocchi’s increasing literary resonance. On the basis of documentary segment of these corpuses, their common inner and outer intents are conceptualized, especially in relation to social aspect of modernity.

Revolutionary innovations in the technologies of producing manuscripts and of turning them into books have led to an explosion of new titles. They number millions globally each year. Tens of thousands in this ocean represent books in English in the humanities and social sciences. One driver of this congestion of academic titles is the prevailing model of higher education institutions. Universities are by definition also research institutions; professors are by definition also scholars; and scholars are distinguished by their publications, books primarily.By removing the “publish or perish” mantra from centre stage can we expect detectable relief both on the oversaturated academic book market and about the mental well-being of higher education professors.

İnancımız gelişen ve değişen dünyada barış kültürünün yaygınlaşması için farklı eğitim programlarına ihtiyaç duyulduğundan işbirlikleri içinde, fark yaratmanın mümkün olabileceğidir. Umberto Eco'nın da belirttiği gibi, post-modern savaşlar çağında büyük barışlar öngörmek artık mümkün değildir. Ancak küçük barışlar için çaba harcayıp büyük savaşı besleyen gerilimleri azaltmaya katkıda bulunabiliriz. Eğitim ortamları da küçük barışların yeşerip büyük dönüşümlere öncülük edebileceği küçük ve etkin bahçeler olduğunu düşünüyoruz.
  İşte bu amaç çerçevesinde, Çelikel Vakfı ve Mikado Danışmanlığının büyük katkılarıyla Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı Kavak Rıdvan Çelikel Anadolu Lisesi (RÇAL) ve Üsküdar Anadolu Lisesinde (ÜAL) 2011-12 eğitim döneminde Geniş Açı: Yaratıcı Gelişim Programı adı altında bir program yürütülmüştür. Bu değerlendirme raporu da uygulanan bu programın detaylı olarak değerlendirmesini sunmaktadır. Bu sayede okullarda gerçekleştirilebilecek aktivitelerin aslında ne denli öğrencilerde değişime sebep olabileceğini göstermek içindir.
  Yapılan araştırmalarda da görüldüğü üzere aslında gençlerin ihtiyacı olan konularda odaklanıldığında onlarda farklılaşmanın aslında ne kadar da rahat olabileceğini ortaya ortaya koymaktır. Günümüzde, iletişim çağının getirdiği değişim ortadadır. Bu değişim ortamında eğitim yeni bir şekil almakla kalmamakla aynı zamanda yeni sorumluluklar üstlenmekte ve yeni roller almaktadır. Bu süreçte özellikle gençlerle birlikte onların ihtiyaçlarına yönelik çalışmaların yapılması, gençlerin sadece başarısını değil aynı zamanda mutluluğuna da sebep olmaktadır. Bu sayede değişim ve dönüşüm daha rahat ve anlamlı olabilir.
  Bu raporun amacı farklı bir yaklaşım ile değişimi irdelemek ve bundan sonra yapılan programlarında bu değerlendirmenin ışık tutmasını sağlamaktır.

Boğaziçi Üniversitesi, Barış Eğitimi Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi ile Doğan Gazetecilik tarafından ''Baba Beni Okula Gönder'' Projesi kapsamında, kız öğrenci yurtlarında çalışan görevlilerin ihtiyaçları ve yurtlar hakkında görüş ve önerilerin belirlenmesi için ihtiyaç analizi çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Bunun yanında Yurt Ortamı Ölçeği (Moos,19, Kerimol-Orçan19) ve Duygusal Zeka Ölçeği (Coleman, Bar-On) kullanılarak katılımcıların yurtlarla ilgili ölçek çerçevesinde algıları ve bireysel yaklaşımları ele alınmıştır. Yurt müdürleri ve belletmenlerin maddi manevi ihtiyaçlarını hem kendileri hem de kız öğrenciler açısından saptamak için odak grup çalışması (4 grup)  ve de ölçekler kullanılmıştır.
    Çeşitli illerde yaptırılan toplam 32 adet kız öğrenci yurdunda bölgesel olarak farklılıklar görünmesine rağmen koşullar genellikle birbirine benzemektedir. Kız öğrenci yurtlarında kalan kız çocuklarının çoğunlukla ilgi alanlarını geliştirebilecekleri veya sosyalleşebilecekleri alanların ve olanakların kısıtlı olması, yurttan sorumlu müdür yardımcısı ve belletmen öğretmenlerin çocuklara karşı ilgisi, iş yapabilme becerisi çocukların koşullarını etkilemekte ve gelişimlerini destekleyici yaşam alanı oluşturma ihtiyacını artırmaktadır.
    Bu raporun amacı, yurt görevlileri ve öğrencilerin ihtiyaçlarının belirlenmesinden sonra geliştirilecek faaliyet modellerinin hazırlanması için daha sistemli bir alt yapı oluşturulmasıdır. Kız öğrencilerin okul-yurt arasında geçen yaşamlarında evleri sayılabilecek yurtlarının daha yaşanabilir olması, ilgi alanlarını geliştirebilecekleri, sosyalleşebilecekleri ve aynı zamanda yurt görevlilerinin de benimseyip yürütebileceği daha iyi bir yaşam alanı oluşturmak için önemli bir bilgi kaynaği oluşturmaktadır.
