Este proyecto busca contribuir a reforzar la preservación de su patrimonio y herencias culturales, con la ayuda de técnicas de recolección, gestión y clasificación de datos y de herramientas de las humanidades digitales, para el diseño y puesta en operación de un repositorio, en el que se pueda conjuntar una colección de objetos digitales nativos y digitalizados, para su preservación, difusión, investigación y reuso, y con la participación de la comunidad sanmiguelense, quien será la principal beneficiada del proyecto. espanolFruto del estudio de la Ciudad de Caceres y del azar se localiza una anomalia dentro de su trama urbana que hace sospechar que anexo a una serie de viviendas populares ubicadas en la zona noreste de la cerca se esconde un trocito de la historia almohade de la Ciudad de Caceres. The descriptions in this book invite readers to learn about the most memorable and significant landmarks within the twin towns of San Ignacio and Santa Elena, more commonly known as ‘El Cayo’ or simply ‘Cayo’. This book is the second in a series that forms part of the Belize Historical Landmarks Project under the auspices of the Institute for Social and Cultural Research (ISCR) and the Belize Tourism Board (BTB). The goal is to provide educational resources that will encourage and enable the present generation of Belizeans to become more familiar with the origins and trajectories of the communities in which they live.
