The Why, The What, And The Who Turkey holds a special place in two worlds, the first is the world of Muslims in which it functions as a beacon for the hope of change, a change of which this geography is in dire need. The second is the true geographical world that encompasses humanity’s history and conscience. And with this special place, Turkey has a special responsibility to be a bridge between cultures, ethnicities, and religions. And while the population of the world itself had traveled to Turkey throughout the last ten years in haste, the world of ideas is coming at a slower pace. especially when it comes to the field of Islamic thought. Here at IDE, we believe that the knowledge of humanity is whole. We don’t believe that there is a difference between “religious” and “non-religious” sciences. We deeply think that knowledge in all of its shapes and sizes are ways to Allah, that is – I might add- if it was studied by the method of truth. We work at IDE to achieve this unity by studying five essential fields: Usul and Makasid, the method in Islamic sciences, unity of knowledge, ethics, and aesthetics. In these filed we believe that we can be a step ahead one day. As for IDE(A) or () Turkish name, we would say that this magazine is one of this institution’s many projects. This magazine comes as a monthly project of IDE’s international team who speak collectively more than ten languages. it aims to open the bridge between what is happing in the world and the Turkish world of thought, every piece of news here whether social, political, or else is put forward to give food for thought to Turkish academicians all over Turkey. North America, Europe, Africa, the Arab world, Farsi speaking world, and the Indian subcontinent were covered in this issue, other geographies – we hope- are yet to join. It is worth noting here that This is not an analytical magazine, that we leave to our dear readers, this is a magazine of news that can scratch the mind of thinkers to figure out the trends in the world of thought. We deliver the news which has potential to the reader’s screen, we keep him up to date, and the rest is up to him. We hope you enjoy this short summary of what is happing in the world of thought, with the hope that you – dear reader- will be a part of it one day.

Uygulanan Panel EKK tahmin sonuçları kişi başı gelir benzerliğinin, emek verimliliğinin, işgücüne katılım oranının ve uluslararası örğütlere üyeliğin ikili ticareti pozitif; iki ülke başkentleri arası mesafenin ise negatif yönde etkilediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The high school years that correspond to the period when the symptoms of adolescence are most intense are also a time when important decisions are made. On one hand adapting to the physical emotional and intellectual developments, on the other hand deciding on the choice of the profession and furthermore being in a fight with the whole world, is making the period even more challenging Satisfaction from life in these stormy years can become more difficult than ever. The aim of this research is to investigate the factors that may affect life satisfaction in adolescence. Relational screening model was used in the study. The study group of the research consists of 311 high school students from different high schools. Personal information form developed by researchers and Life Satisfaction Scale whose Turkish adaptation is made by Köker (1991) and Yetim (1993) is used as data collection tool. SPSS 20 program is used for analyzing the data. Statistical techniques to be used as a result of normality analysis were determined. Spearman's correlation coefficient was used for determining the relationships between variables, t-test was used for examining binary variables, ANOVAwas used for three and more categorical variables. Survey results show that there is no significant difference in life satisfaction in terms of gender variable, school type, number of siblings and academic achievement. It has been found that there is a strong positive relationship between life satisfaction and family satisfaction. Also, as the class level increased, the level of life satisfaction decreased. The findings were discussed and interpreted in light of the literature.

K adim welcomes original and scholarly contributions to the field of Ottoman History. Contributors can submit research articles, translations or critical editions, book or scholarly event reviews and dissertation proposals. Contributors are expected to read the text below carefully before submitting a manuscript. Manuscripts that do not conform to Kadim's guidelines will be returned to the author. Manuscripts should be written in Turkish or English and uploaded to Kadim's system via dergipark.org/kadim. Authors should write manuscripts with Times New Roman font style, 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing in Microsoft Word program. The footnotes should be in Times New Roman, 10-point font and single-spaced. The margins of each Microsoft Word page should be in the default form (2.5 cm per side). The manuscript should also include an abstract of 100-200 words in Turkish and English with 4-7 keywords below. The title of the article should be vertically centered at the top of the first page. The author's full name should follow the title and contributors should include title, institution, email and ORCID information as footnoted to the names (All contributors are responsible for creating an ORCID account: orcid.org). Manuscripts conforming to these conditions will be read by the editors for the evaluation of the content. They reserve the right to decide on the suitability of the subject matter at this step. Eligible submissions then will be seen anonymously by two referees. Contributors are kindly suggested to keep in mind that they are addressing an international audience. The journal encourages critical perspectives, and therefore, publishes articles by scholars of diverse schools to contribute to the literature and carry Ottoman studies to a higher level. Kadim accepts articles related to the history of the Ottoman Empire and other subjects related to the same field. The journal welcomes Turkish or English research articles, critical editions and translations, book and dissertation reviews, review articles, short reports, interviews, meeting abstracts, obituaries, biographies, and bibliographies. P u blıcatıon Polıc y Kadim follows ethical duties and responsibilities in the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors who submit their work to the journal must comply with the ethical principles prepared in this framework. Authorship of the Paper: Authorship should be limited to those who significantly contribute to the study. The authors of an article are to be decided before the submission, no one should be a 'gifted' author or denied as a ghost author. Acknowledgments: Those (institutions and financial resources) who provide support but not contribute to the research should be acknowledged in an Acknowledgements section. Originality and purity of plagiarism: The authors should be entirely own the submitted work. All the references in the manuscript should be cited appropriately and listed in the references. All submitted articles will be screened through iThenticate to prevent plagiarism and violations of publication ethics. The studies showing a 15% or more similarity rate will be rejected. Ethics committee permission and approval: If the research involves human participants, the authors must claim ethical approval from an appropriate committee and explain how they obtained consent in the manuscripts.

Yiyecek İçecek İşletmelerinde Memnuniyetin Tekrar Ziyaret Niyeti Üzerindeki Etkisinde Atmosfer ve Sadakatin Aracı ve Düzenleyici Rolü; Kapadokya Örneği , 2020

Restoranlardaki yiyeceklere erişimin herkes tarafından sağlanabiliyor oluşu zaman içerisinde yiyecek içecek işletmelerine bakış açısını değiştirmiştir. Bu işletmeler tüketicilere yiyecek sunmanın dışında onların sosyalleşmesine yardımcı olacakları huzurlu atmosferler yaratmak gibi önemli bir misyonu da üstlenmişlerdir. Bu noktadan yola çıkarak çalışmanın amacını restoranlardaki atmosfer durumunun müşteri memnuniyeti sadakat ve tekrar ziyarette bulunma niyetine etkisi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada belirlenen amaç doğrultusunda Kapadokya bölgesini ziyaret eden bireylerin atmosfer algısının memnuniyet düzeylerine ve tekrar ziyaret etme niyetine etkisi incelenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda nicel veri toplama tekniklerinden biri olan anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında 400 anket formu dağıtılmış 350 dönüt sağlanmıştır 22 anket formu geçersiz olması nedeniyle analize dahil edilmemiştir. Temel ölçek olarak çalışmada DINESCAPE ölçeği kullanılmakla birlikte memnuniyet, sadakat ve tekrar ziyaret niyetini ölçen 30 maddeden oluşan bir anket tasarlanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında SPSS Process modellemesinden faydalanılarak veriler analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi doğrultusunda atmosfer, memnuniyet, sadakat ve tekrar ziyaret etme niyeti değişkenleri arasında pozitif yönlü ilişkilerin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Apart from providing food to consumers, these businesses have undertaken an important mission to create a peaceful atmosphere that will help consumers to socialize. In this vein, the current study aims to reveal the effect of restaurant atmosphere on customer satisfaction, loyalty and revisit intention. In line with the research purpose, the effect of atmosphere perception of individuals visiting the Cappadocia region on their satisfaction levels and revisit intentions was investigated. As one of the quantitative data collection methods, survey technique was employed in the study. Within the scope of the study, 400 questionnaire forms were distributed and 350 forms returned. Since 22 questionnaire forms were ineligible, they were excluded from the analysis. Despite the fact that the DINESCAPE scale was the main measurement scale in the study, a questionnaire form consisting of 30 items was designed to measure satisfaction, loyalty and revisit intention. The research data were analyzed with the help of SPSS Process modeling. In the light of the data analysis results, it was determined that there were positive relations among the variables of atmosphere, satisfaction, loyalty and revisit intention.
