Patrik Lekeš (Nitra) Абстракт Ф.М. Достоевский является представителем психологического реализма, изучающим «дно человеческой души». В 1876 г. он написал произведение «Кроткая», в то время в Санкт-Петербурге статистики показывают большое количество совершённых самоубийств. В статье рассматриваются мотивы и поступок самоубийства главной героини произведения в сравнении с исследованиями и диагностическим материалом современной психологии и психиатрии. На основе современных психологических исследований и психиатрических классификаций (МКБ-10; ВОЗ) определяется суицидальное поведение, его черты и проявления на материале литературного произведения, литературного персонажа-Кроткой.

Post-homicidal suicides (PHSU) are found in many areas of world culture. However, we did not find an analysis of feature films with PHSU in the available literature. Collected and studied 15 foreign feature films, in the plot of which PHSU are observed. The homicides were carried out by 10 men and 6 women, resulting in the death of 26 victims (15 men, 8 women and three children). The analysis took into account the criminal, medical and social characteristics of PHSU. Spousal (intimate partner) PHSU qualified in five films, filicide-suicide-in two, familicide-suicide-in two, extrafamilial PHSU-in seven, mass-killing-suicide-in one. The most common means of homicide (50%) and suicide (62.5%) was firearms. There were more than one victim in five films, two cases of PHSU-in one. PHSU in feature films match their descriptions in the scientific literature, but female killers, male victims, extrafamilial PHSU are more common, and mental disorders are less common than in epidemiological studies on this issue.

Такой документ публикуется два раза в год -в конце календарного года (New Year Honours) и в ию не, перед официальным Днем рождения правящего монарха (Queen's Birthday Honours). В июньском списке есть имя, дорогое для всех шекспироведов мира. Профессор Стэнли Уэллс, многолетний глава Шекспировского института, а ныне -почетный президент фонда «Дом музей Шекспира» (Shakespeare Birthplace Trust), был удосто ен рыцарского звания. Стэнли Уильям Уэллс -один из самых известных ныне живущих шекспироведов, автор множества статей и книг (например, «Шекспир: на все времена» (Wells, 2003), «Шекспир и Ко» (Wells, 2006), «Шекспировский круг» (The Shakespeare circle, 2015) и мн. др.), главный редактор Оксфордского собрания сочинений Шекспира. В 2007 г. за заслуги в шекспироведении ученый стал Командором Ордена Британской империи. В кратком интервью BBC Стэнли Уэллс высказал благодарность ученым всего мира, с которыми ему посчастливилось сотрудничать, и надежду на то, что все они разделят его радость. 18 ноября 2016 г. в Букингемском дворце состоялся обряд посвящения в рыцари профессора С. Уэллса. Церемонию проводил давний поклонник творчества Шекспи ра и покровитель Королевского театра принц Чарльз Уэльский. The real cause of his death in Moscow triggered an intense epistolary debate that has remained unnoticed by Russian and Western scholars of suicide. The participants of this debate included Russian, Swedish, Finnish, Polish, and French writers, politicians, military men, conspirators, adventurists, courtiers, and historians, ranging from the Russian writer Karamzin to Napoleon, then First Consul of France, and Russian Emperor Paul I. The major question posed by this project is not why the son of the infamous Swedish politician decided to commit suicide, but rather how this suicide reveals a number of dramatic ideological, political, emotional, and literary conflicts and shifts in Russia, Sweden, and Europe as a whole on the eve of the Napoleonic Wars. The article discusses the ancient idea of voluntary departure from life from the perspective of its influence on Shakespeare’s works. The author of the article singles out the texts that influenced the views of the English playwright on suicide due to both the general enthusiasm of the Elizabethans for antiquity and Shakespeare’s habit of taking ready-made plots from favourite books, including ancient works, and also his passion for introducing mythological and historical allusions into dramaturgy and poetry. The author dwells on the issue of direct sources relying on the authoritative opinion of such Shakespeare scholars as J. Beit, W. Baldwin, J. Bullough, R. S. Miola, C. Muir, W. Rolf and others, and notes the significance of the so-called cultural sources which could be read or perceived indirectly. Those dissenters are terrible because of their deeds…: from the history of struggle with Old Believers in 18th-century provincial Russia. The subject of the article is the history of the Russian Church authorities' struggle against Old Believers in the 18th century. The author analyzes the accusations intended to make Old Believers suspicious and alien in the surrounding population's opinion. Specifically, a case of absurdly accusing Old Believers of bloody sacrificing is scrutinized. It is shown that such accusations were never confirmed but often compelled Old Believers to look for a new place of the residence.

Death and power in anti-utopian literatureIn the article, through the prism of the hero’s peculiar approach to death, Russian anti-utopian literature of the twentieth and twenty-first century is discussed. The author focuses primarily on the novel by Yevgeny Zamyatin We, a short story by Vladimir Makanin Escape Hatch and the work of Vladimir Nabokov Invitation to a Beheading. The author also mentions following publications: S.N.U.F.F. of Viktor Pelevin, Leningrad of Mikhail Kozyrev as well as Moscow 2042 — anti-utopian novel by Vladimir Voinovich and Telluria, a book by Vladimir Sorokin. The researcher emphasizes that the genre structure of the plot in Russian anti-utopian literature is based on two basic pillars: death and power. Those in power manipulate subordinates by threatening them with death, thus maintaining society under their brutal control. Death becomes the best way to escape for the anti-utopian heroes from the “mandatory happiness for all” announced by the authorities...
