In most journals, there are letters or answers sections. Letters to the editor are usually a type of short communication that can be written on any topic that attracts the attention of the readers. Although articles are stringently vetted before publication in a journal, some issues can still go unnoticed. In this situation, readers can offer their interpretations by writing a letter to the editor. Thus, letters are also a control mechanism that facilitates progress after an article has been published. One of the most important aspects of a letter to the editor is that it must be short. It is known that a letter is more easily accessible to readers when the message is short and brief. The letter to the editor or author must make reference to objectives or discussions on medical, scientific or general topics that may attract attention. A letter must have a purpose, and it should convey its message in a short and definitive fashion.
about 2000 words, with no more than six tables or illustrations; short communications should be of about 600 words, with one table or illustration and no more than five references. Clinical case reports and brief or negative research findings may appear in this section. Review article should consist of structured overview of some relatively narrow topics providing background and recent development with reference to the original literature. Please note that an author can write a review article only if he/she has written a minimum of three original research articles and some case reports on the same topic. Letters should normally not exceed 400 words, have no more than 05 references, and be signed by all the authors; preference is given to those that take up points made in contributions published in the journal. Editorials are by invitation. Authors should send manuscripts to the Managing Editor, JRLMC. The author should submit manuscript typed in MS Word. Each manuscript should include a title page (containing e-mail address, fax and phone numbers of the corresponding author), abstract, text, acknowledgements (if any), references, tables, and legends. Each component should begin on a new page, in the following sequence: title page; abstract and at least three key words; text; acknowledgements; references; tables (each table, complete with title and footnotes, should be merged in the manuscript); and legends for illustrations. The manuscript should be typed in double spacing as a single column. It should not exceed 3000 words, excluding tables and references. There should be no less than 20 or more than 40 references in an Original Article and no less than 40 or more than 60 in a Review Article.

Excellent research in the fields of medicine and medical science can advance the field and contribute to human health improvement. In this aspect, research is important. However, if researchers do not publish their research, their efforts cannot benefit anyone. To make a difference, researchers must disseminate their results and communicate their opinions. One way to do this is by publishing their research. Therefore, academic writing is an essential skill for researchers. However, preparing a manuscript is not an easy task, and it is difficult to write well. Following a structure may be helpful for researchers. For example, the standard structure of medical and medical science articles includes the following sections: introduction, methods, results, and discussion (IMRAD). The purpose of this review is to present an introduction for researchers, especially novices, on how to write an original article in the field of medicine and medical science. Therefore, we discuss how to prepare...
