Abstract

The concepts related to the concepts of education and training can be shown as teacher, student and undergraduate programs. Teacher training has been a phenomenon that was scrutinized and criticized in the history of the Republic and before. In particular, training Turkish teachers has a special importance. An undergraduate program with a solid mission / vision is needed to train qualified Turkish teachers. Until today, many undergraduate programs related to Turkish teaching have been carried out. The first of these undergraduate programs can be considered as the 1998 program. Afterwards, the process was tried to be developed with the 2006 program designed with the philosophy of constructivism. With its pros and cons, with the 2018 Turkish Language Teaching program, it was aimed and targeted to train qualified teachers. In this study, 1998, 2006 and 2018 Turkish Language Teaching programs were examined and the application problems in these programs were examined both qualitatively and quantitatively, and solutions were offered to the problems. Descriptive research steps were applied and data were determined through document analysis. As a result of the study, considering the teacher training practices in the world, a new undergraduate program proposal with elective courses www.inciss.com Volume V/ Issue II Hakan YALAP-Sercan DEMİRGÜNEŞ-Ahmet AKAY 231 was made in accordance with the field education, vocational knowledge and general culture.
