In this paper we give some theorems on point of coincidence and common fixed points for two self mappings satisfying some general contractive conditions in vector metric spaces. Our results generalize some well-known recent results.
Mathematical Theory and Modeling, 2013
In the present paper we prove fixed point and common fixed point theorems in two self mappings satisfy quasi type contraction.
Granthaalayah Publications and Printers, 2022
The main objective of this article is to introduce a fixed-point result involving two mappings satisfying contraction in a metric-like space. The article has been designed in the following manner. In the first section the authors have mentioned some definitions and commonly used notations. In the second section, they have mentioned some fixedpoint results. In the third section the authors have introduced their main result and in the last section, using these results, the authors have obtained some conditions that assure the existence of a common fixed point of a pair of mappings.

In this paper, considering an order relation on a vector metric space which is introduced by Ç evik and Altun in 2009, we present some fundamental fixed point results. Then, we provide some nontrivial examples show that the investigation of this work is significant.
Central European Journal of Mathematics, 2008
In this paper, we prove some theorems about common fixed point for two self mappings satisfying some general contractive conditions in vector metric spaces. Presented results are generalizations of the some well-known recent fixed point theorems.
In the present paper, a common fixed point theorem for two pairs of compatible mappings is proved under a new contractive condition, which is independent of the known contractive definitions.
Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computing, 2006
Some common fixed point theorems for two pairs of non-self mappings in complete metrically convex metric spaces are proved which generalize earlier results due to Khan et al. [11], Assad [2], Chatterjea [3] and several others. Some related results and illustrative examples are also discussed.

Here we have obtained some fixed pointic results for a class of contractive type mappings in a setting of 2-metric space.
Miskolc Mathematical Notes, 2015
In this paper, we have given a criteria for the existence of common fixed point for pair of mappings in 2-metric spaces and establish common fixed point theorems for certain class of contractive type mappings. The results presented here, generalize some well known fixed point theorems given in the literature.
International Journal of Nonlinear Analysis and Applications, 2013
In this paper xed point and coincidence results are presented for two and three single-valued map-pings. These results extend previous results given by Rhoades (2003) and Djoudi and Merghadi(2008).
In this paper, we introduced the concept of (CAB)-contractive mappings and provide sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point for such class of generalized nonlinear contractive mappings in metric spaces and several interesting corollaries are deduced. Also, as application, we obtain some results on coupled fixed points, fixed point on metric spaces endowed with N-transitive binary relation and fixed point for cyclic mappings. The proved results generalize and extend various well-known results in the literature.

We prove a common fixed point theorem for two pairs of compatible and subsequentially continuous (alternately subcompatible and reciprocally continuous) mappings satisfying a general contractive condition in a metric space. Some illustrative examples are furnished to highlight the realized improvements. Our result improves the main result of Sedghi and Shobe (2007).

In this paper we give necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of fixed and common fixed points of self-mappings of metric spaces. Our results generalize, improve, and unify some results of Chang, Jungck, Fisher, and Dien.
Journal of Linear and Topological Algebra, 2016
In this paper we consider the so called a vector metric space, which is a gener- alization of metric space, where the metric is Riesz space valued. We prove some common xed point theorems for three mappings in this space. Obtained results extend and generalize well-known comparable results in the literature. c
Fixed Point Theory and Applications, 2012
In this article we obtain, in the setting of metric spaces or ordered metric spaces, coincidence point, and common fixed point theorems for self-mappings in a general class of contractions defined by an implicit relation. Our results unify, extend, generalize many related common fixed point theorems from the literature.

In this paper, we introduce a new class Ψ1 of functions which are different from Ψ introduced by Hussain, Parvaneh, Samet and Vetro [9]. We define JS - Ψ1 - contraction for a single selfmap and prove the existence of fixed points. Also, we extend JS - Ψ1 - contraction to a pair of selfmaps and prove the existence of coincidence points and prove the existence of common fixed points by assuming the weakly compatible property. Further, we study the existence of common fixed points for a pair of weakly compatible selfmaps satisfying property (E. A). Examples are provided to illustrate our results.
Abstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
Recently, Abbas et al. 2012 obtained some unique common fixed-point results for a pair of mappings satisfying E.A property under certain generalized strict contractive conditions in the framework of a generalized metric space. In this paper, we present common coincidence and common fixed points of two pairs of mappings when only one pair satisfies E.A property in the setup of generalized metric spaces. We present some examples to support our results. We also study well-posedness of common fixed-point problem.
International Journal of Analysis, 2013
We obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of unique common fixed point of ( − )-weakly contractive mappings on complete rectangular metric spaces. In the process, we generalize several fixed point results from the literature. We also give an example to illustrate our work.
Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2011
In this paper, study of necessary conditions for the existence of unique coupled common fixed point of contractive type mappings in the context of two generalized metric spaces is initiated. These results generalize several comparable results from the current literature. We also provide illustrative examples in support of our new results.
We obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of a unique fixed point of Reich and Rhoades type contractive conditions on generalized, complete, metric spaces dependent on another function. Our results generalize and extend some well-known previous results.
Advances in Pure Mathematics
In the present paper, we prove two theorems. In first theorem, we prove fixed point result for self-maps in the metric space under contractive condition of integral type by altering distance. In second result, we prove a unique common fixed point theorem by considering four sub compatible maps under a contractive condition of integral type.
