Afasia progresiva primaria: reporte de un caso

Primary progressive aphasia (ppa ) is a neurodegenerative syndrome characterized by gradual engagement of language, but with relative preservation of other cognitive domains, behavioral and instrumental, during the initial stages of the disease. Continuous research has enabled substantial progress in understanding the clinical, genetic and neuropathological of this syndrome. Thedeterioration in the nomination of objects is the main symptom in these patients. The clinical picture demonstrates the commitment of language, relatively isolated, being the biggest factor in the limitations of activities of daily living. According to the literature defining types of ppa as: agrammatism, semantic, logopenic and mixed.
