Abstract
Cinema has been one of the most important revolutions in the human conscience, and nowadays, inside a society of images, the image-movement every day has been increasing its importance building the social being, while arriving to affirm that man is the animal that goes to cinema. Even thought it will look weird, audiovisual images birth from words, from a script which has been written before the production of movies, soap operas or TV series. The screenwriter is a person who organizes this word’s framework where images compose a movie body. The screenwriter works using words but he is not a writer, he thinks images but not create them, they are suggested by him. This article drives a path from movie script history, their main components such as topic, action and character, through a recognizing of dramatic structures and scripts styles, arriving to the creation of an original script for a short movie.
