EaD: uma história de inovações tecnológicas no Brasil

Abstract

One of the structural elements of Distance Learning (DL) refers pedagogical and technological innovations that can contribute to the improvement of this model of education. Thus, this paper aims to present the development of Distance Education in Brazil, listing the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in every period of history, from the dawn of written correspondence to the most recent technologies developed and used in DL, to allow reflection on the possibilities that this type of education offers in order to promote educational opportunities for large populations.
