Security is an essential need for man. Without the sense of security, daily human activities will be greatly affected. Most people go to great lengths to ensure there is a presence of security in their environment, often employing dedicated personnel to keep watch over them and their property. This paper proposes a design of a microcontroller based electronic security system which helps to detect possible intruders to a home. This security system is designed to reduce the need of having personnel stationed as security guards over a home. It has the primary unit called the Area Watch Unit (AWU) consisting of a motion detection unit that effectively detects motion around specified perimeters which is then followed by a computer vision to identify and classify what caused the motion. A facial recognition algorithm is run on the face extracted from the image captured after the object that caused the motion is identified and classified as human. Access is then granted to the individual if the results from the facial recognition is positive otherwise a message is sent to the owner of the home indicating a possible intruder is present. There is also a Final Recovery Unit (FRU) which sends a message to the owner of the home and sounds an alarm whiles flashing lights in the event that the Area Watch Unit (AWU) is bypassed without authority.
According to the popular philosopher - Abraham Maslow, security is the second most basic need of man. There is need to protect life and property, in order to do this a security system must be developed. The purpose of this project is to develop a highly efficient and affordable security system with an industrial complex as a case study, which would take necessary countermeasures against possible security risks to man and property. These countermeasures are in three layers. The first layer is protection against fire outbreaks through a fire detector comprising a smoke detector and a temperature sensor. The second layer is intrusion detection which monitors and prevents unauthorized access. The last layer is live video monitoring and analysis employing the use of IP security cameras. In addition, Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) ensures that only registered staff are allowed access into the industrial complex at any point in time and a door way counter determines the...
According to the well-known scholar-Abraham Maslow, security is the second most essential need of man. There is having to ensure life and property, so as to do this a security framework must be created. The reason for this venture is to build up an exceptionally proficient and reasonable security framework with a mechanical unpredictable as a contextual investigation, which would take important countermeasures against conceivable security dangers to man and property. These countermeasures are in three layers. The main layer is assurance against fire flare-ups through a fire identifier containing a smoke alarm and a temperature sensor. The subsequent layer is interruption recognition which screens and forestalls unapproved access. The last layer is live video checking and examination utilizing the utilization of IP surveillance cameras. Furthermore, Automated Fingerprint ID System (AFIS) guarantees that solitary enlisted staff are permitted admittance into the mechanical complex anytime in time and an entryway counter decides the quantity of individuals present in the structure at some random time. All the more along these lines, this framework is totally computerized and adjustable, joining Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and rich Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs).

Automated security systems are a useful addition to today's home where safety is an important issue. Vision-based security systems have the advantage of being easy to set up, inexpensive and non-obtrusive. This paper proposes an integrated dual-level vision-based home security system, which consists of two subsystems -a face recognition module and a motion detection module. The primary face recognition module functions as a user authentication device. On an event of a failure in the primary system, the secondary motion detection module acts as a reliable backup to detect human-related motions within certain locations inside the home. Novel algorithms have been proposed for both subsystems. Several experiments and field tests conducted have shown good performance and feasible implementation in both subsystems 1 .

In this paper, a smart surveillance system for home security is developed. The system consists of a motion detection system, an authentication system, an alert system and a web application control panel. It uses raspberry pi as the main controller which was programmed using python, a PIR sensor and a camera for motion detection and taking of images, an RFID reader/card for authentication, a USB modem for phone calls which also connect the device to the internet to allow it send images of an intruder to the owners email, a buzzer as an alarm and a web application control panel that could be accessed over the raspberry pi's Wi-Fi to manage the system. This system was tested using various scenarios such as user authentication, intruder or wrong authentication and it worked as expected.

In this paper, the design and realization of motion detector system for house security based GSM network is presents. The development of microcontroller carried out intruder detection that supports tracking techniques to provide vital security with control and alert operation inside and outside the home. The pivot of security on the integration the motion detector and cameras into web applications has become more interested. The smart surveillance Pi camera obtain the input from the motion detector and controller which is send the video to the web server allowing the homeowner to access this video by use web applications. An intrusion alert send to the owner by mean of message via mobile and buzzers alarms located at suitable distance. This system is typify proficient video camera for remote sensing and tracking with live video for succeeding play again to offers efficient and easy implementation with omnipresent surveillance solution.
Security is the major concern in our day-today life for our convenience and safety purpose. Everyone wants to be much as secure as possible because of the drastic increase crime rate due to increasing unemployment or starvation in corona epidemic. In this review paper, we had tried to increase the standards by combining new design techniques and developed lowcost home and industrial automated security systems. Lot of research been carried out deploying sensors like PIR, sensor, camera, GSM modules towards detecting the intruder at home. But the major drawback in all these systems is that they are all too much costly to be deployed integrated with LCD panel or camera. As a part of our review paper, we have developed an integrated 3 level HSS. The first level being authentication access for the residents, where in we have used a fingerprint scanner. The next level in our HSS is to detect any unwanted intruder entering the house. The 3rd level is to detect fire in the house.

From centuries humans have been insecure regarding his personal belongings; be it land, food or money security. With advancement in technology in the recent times various security issues have aroused. The technology currently being used to tackle these issues is video surveillance and monitoring. Thus we propose a new system based on face detection and tracking. The system detects the human face with the help of web camera and the face detection algorithm based on Haar-like-feature extraction and AdaBoost (Adaptive Boost) algorithm implemented on Processing IDE. The detected face is tracked using the OpenCV and Arduino, targeted using the Unmanned Gun Control (UGC) mechanism.

Home security is essential for occupant’s conveniences and protection. This research project designed and implemented a comparatively inexpensive smart surveillance security system that automatically captures an intruder’s image through a raspberry pi camera module and PIR sensor and sends mail to the user via Wi-Fi using the users registered email address. This system operates by triggering the Pi Camera through Raspberry Pi whenever an intruder comes in range using PIR sensor. The Pi camera will capture the image, save it and send the image of the intruder via mail to the user through the help of the command codes embedded in the Raspberry pi microcontroller. This research project will enable home/supermarket and office owners to secure their facilities and monitor the activities of their employers at any location at cheaper cost which is the earnest desire of an Engineer. Proteus 2022 was used as the simulation tool. Keywords: Security, Spy camera, Raspberry pi, IOT, smart securi...

Smart security system has become indispensable in modern daily life. The proposed security system has been developed to prevent robbery in highly secure areas like home environment with lesser power consumption and more reliable standalone security device for both Intruder detection and for door security. The door access control is implemented by using face recognition technology, which grants access to only authorized people to enter that area. The face recognition and detection process is implemented by principal component analysis (PCA) approach and instead of using sensor devices intruder detection is achieved by performing image processing on captured video frames of data, and calculating the difference between the previously captured frame with the running frames in terms of pixels in the captured frames. This is the stand alone security device has been developed by using Raspberry Pi electronic development board and operated on Battery power supply, wireless internet connectivity by using USB modem. Auto Police e-Complaint registration has been achieved by sending security breach alert mails to the nearby police station e-mail id. This proposed is more effective, reliable, and this system consumes very less data and power compared to the other existing systems.
