M athematical thinking has been studied by many researchers in different contexts. Lesh & English (2005) conduct a study about the connection between the someone's success and his/her mathematical thinking ability. Shmakov & Hannula (2010) study about the creative thinking of students based on the fun mathematics teaching process, Young (2013) uses improv comedy to help the learning activities in class, and the finding of Nicewonder (2001) shows that introducing comedy during mathematics class in any given level could help students understanding the material and also could make mathematics become more fun. Basically, comedy uses the pattern of setuppunchline formula which offers expectation and gives unexpected surprise. In this matter, the thinking process known as assimilationaccomodation creates the condition equilibrium and disequilibrium. Furthermore, to analyze the mathematical thinking happens, the researcher conducts a research on Stand Up Comedy Indonesia. In short, mathematical thinking used by the comedians is an implicational logical pattern. A condition of "if" is as the setup while a condition of "then" is as the punchline. Different techniques of punchline used by different comedians are based on their stage persona which covers language, background, and the sensitivity of comedy.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Geger dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika ditinjau dari perbedaan gender.
Meningkatkan Kemampuan Penalaran Matematika dengan Pendkatan Scientific Terintegrasi Pada Model Problem Solving
Caries is one of the dental and oral health problems caused by the Streptococcus genus. The control of dental plaque has been done with brushing teeth and using mouthwash based chemicals that pose a risk to the stomach. The purpose of this study to determine the active compounds contained in extracts and inhibitory activity as well as the power to kill a minimum of guava leaf extract on growth Streptococcus sp.. The method of this research is MIC and MBC test. Data of MBC test was using one way ANOVA. Based on the research is showed guava leaf extract containing the active compound. MIC test concentration 20% showed a decrease in OD values and MBC not significantly (p = 0.065> 0.05). Conclusion active compounds contained in extracts is alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, and tannins. MBC statistical tests showed that the leaf extract of guava can't inhibit the growth of Streptococcus sp..
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperhatikan fungsi implisit pada kecepatan dan percepatan mobil-mobilan pada massa yang berbeda. Berdasarkan hipotesis yang diaujukan dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh massa yang berbeda terhadap kecepatan dan percepatan mobil-mobilan dengan menggunakan fungsi implisit. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Fisika Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. HAMKA, Jakarta Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode penelitian. Dengan populasinya adalah kecepatan dan samplingnya adalah tiga massa yang berbeda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa massa yang berbeda berpengaruh terhadap besar kecepatan dan percepatan berdasar analisis fungsi implisit. Dimana semakin cepat mobil-mobilan bergerak maka akan semakin sedikit waktu yang ditempuh mobil-mobilan tersebut. Serta besar kecepatan dan percepatan yang dialami mobil-mobilan tersebut berbeda setiap massa nya. Semakin besar massa yang dimiliki mobil-mobilan tersebut, semakin kecil kecepatan mobil-mobilan tersebut.
This study aims to determine whether the increased student learning outcomes with realistic mathematics education on the material side of the curved geometry in class IX MTs Al-Washliyah Tembung Academic Year 2014/2015. This type of research is a classroom action research. Subjects in this study were 32 students of class IX-D MTs Al-Washliyah Tembung and the object of this study is an effort to improve student learning outcomes with realistic mathematics education. The instruments used in the study was the observation and tests. The result is an average 2,9 observations of category realistic mathematics learning process on the material side of the curved geometry including well, data obtained average percentage be 75.01125%, aspects of student activity number 1, 2, 3 and 4 are also achieved. An increase in the percentage achieving the ideal time active activity of 11.32375% between cycle I and II, and through the provision of test results obtained by 30 students studying II (93.75%) of 32 student have achieved mastery learning (value 65), while 2 students (6.25%) has not been completed. Based on the descriptions above concluded that increased student learning outcomes with realistic mathematics education on the material side of the curved geometry in class IX MTs Al-Washliyah Tembung Academic Year 2014/2015
Puji serta syukur penulis panjatkan kepada Allah S.W.T karena dengan kasih sayang dan limpahan rahmatnya, penulis dapat menyelesaikan tugas makalah ini tepat waktu. Tak lupa, penulis juga mengucapkan salam kepada Nabi besar Muhammad saw, beserta keluarga dan para sahabatnya yang telah membawa umatnya " minnazulumati illanur " dari zaman kegelapan ke zaman yang penuh cahaya ilmu seperti sekarang ini. Selain untuk memenuhi tugas mata kuliah " Proses Berpikir Matematis " Makalah yang berjudul " kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis " ini dilatarbelakangi atas keingintahuan penulis terkait salah satu kemampuan matematika yaitu kemampuan berpikir kritis. Semoga dengan adanya makalah ini, baik pembaca maupun penulis sendiri dapat memperoleh manfaat diantaranya, penulis dapat menambah wawansan ilmu mengenai definisi kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis serta bagaiman meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dengan memberikan soal-soal matematika yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matemematis itu sendiri. Demikianlah yang dapat penulis sampaikan, semoga makalah ini dapat bermanfaat bagi pembaca dan khususnya bagi penulis sendiri, aamiin.

Students’ who have low mathematical anxiety cause themselves more confidence in learning mathematics and solving given problems, while mathematical habit of mind is a key aspect of student success in learning mathematics. This study aims at investigating the association of mathematical anxiety and habit of mind of high school students’. This study is survey research and it was conducted in a public senior high school in Karawang, West Java, Indonesia. The sample of this research consists of the 11th grade were 501 students’ taken using the cluster sampling method. The instrument used in this research covers mathematical anxiety and habit of mind questionnaire, and the data were analysed by using confirmatory factor analysis. The results show that students' mathematical anxiety was negatively associated with habits of mind.
