The article aims to define the characteristics of the Russian Avant-Garde, offering a detailed discussion of the term, as well as of the concept of "ideostylistics". Departing from the works of Bakhtin/Voloshinov/Medvedev, the author poses as central the categories of artistic milieu, consciousness and communication, rather than other often postulated distinguishing characteristics such as scandal and provocation. Apart from Belyi and Khlebnikov two groups are discussed as cases in point, "Vol'fila" and the "Chinari".

На примере лингвистического анализа категорий EXPERIENCE и KNOWLEDGE, функционирующих в обыденной картине мира английского языка, в монографии осуществляется попытка подтвердить центральный постулат современных теорий познания о том, что между опытом и знанием существует неразрывная взаимосвязь. В качестве инструмента анализа используется понятие концептуальная метонимия, позволяющее выявить две составляющие опыта. С одной стороны, опыт интерпретируется как событие/события, с другой стороны как знание. Анализируются различные виды опыта и знания. Обосновывается классификация видов знаний с точки зрения их вовлеченности в формирование опыта. В работе также затрагиваются проблемы языковой категоризации и концептуализации, вносится определенный вклад в разработку проблем не только лингвистики, но и эпистемологии и когнитивной психологии. Монография адресована широкому кругу специалистов – лингвистам, психологам, философам.
