Идеал духовного и земного в идеях Фомы Аквинского о воспитании, 2021

В статье рассматриваются воззрения средневекового философа, педагога и теолога Фомы Аквинского. Приводится анализ его трудов в контексте темы идеального и земного в рамках его идей на проблему воспитания и обучения. Описывается его роль в становлении и развитии педагогических идей Средневековья и их влияние на последующее развитие различных концепций воспитания.

Досить вибiрковою є увага соцiальних i полiтичних фiлософiв до ситуацiї в країнах, що пережили панування i падiння соцiалiстичного (комунiстичного) режиму, а ранiше таких, що їх вiдносили до регiону так званого другого свiту (свiту соцiалiстичного, вiдмiнного вiд капiталiстичного, та свiтiв, що розвиваються). Дослiдники орiєнтованi переважно на проблеми економiчного i полiтичного розвитку цих країн, зокрема, проблеми розвитку лiберального ринку, демократичних iнститутiв i тi проблеми, що пов'язанi з розповсюдженням iдеологiї нацiоналiзму, тодi як, наприклад, тема справедливостi i проблема соцiальної iнтеграцiї все ще залишаються недостатньо вивченими 1 . Звертає на себе увагу так само вiдсутнiсть сталої термiнологiї для позначення цих країн або суспiльств (як видається, поняття країна або суспiльство в даному випадку можуть виступати як взаємозамiннi). Так, говорять про посттоталiтарнi , пострадянськi , постленiнськi , постсоцiалiстичнi , посткомунiстичнi , або про транзитивнi суспiльства по вiдношенню до тих країн, яких до кiнця 80-х рр. минулого столiття вiдрiзняло панування комунiстичної iдеологiї, планова економiка та пiдпорядкування партiї державного апарату.

В статье в широком историко-литературном и культурно-философском контексте анализируется первая глава автобиографического романа А.К. Воронского «Бурса», озаглавленная автором символически-ёмко - «Мир». Ставшая содержательно-смысловым ядром антологии прозы 1920-1930-х годов, составленной Г. Глинкой, эта глава из романа А.К. Воронского явилась нравственно-онтологическим и аксиологическим центром всего корпуса автобиографических текстов об «ушедшей» России, которую в своей памяти бережно хранили не только писатели русского зарубежья, но и представители литературной группы «Перевал», воплотившие в своих произведениях безвозвратно утраченный национальный образ мира.

The article is devoted to spirituality as an actual category of the scientific and cultural paradigm of the 20th century, spirituality is qualified as an “eternal theme”. The author emphasizes the “fuzziness of the theme,” speaks about the complexity of its definition, as well of ambigious understanding in various socio-historical periods. Spirituality as an eternal topic of fiction is discussed on the example of the novel by Evgenе Vodolazkin Lavr. Lavr – is a hagiographic novel, which describes the life and spiritual path of the doctor in Medieval Russia. The author emphasizes the actuality of the novel Lavr for modern Russia.

Приведен сравнительный обзор двух древних обрядов, казалось бы, совершенно разных традиций буддийской и якутской. Показаны аналогии сюжетов и смысла эротического обряда: достижения экстатического состояния для достижения сакрального просветления и сакрального оплодотворения. Типологические сходства объясняются предположительно единым центральноазиатским генезисом.

В статье предлагается методика изучения литературных сновидений с учетом семи аспектов: филологического, лингвистического, феноменологического, психологического, символического, мифопоэтического и мистического. Исследование сновидений, включенных в “Повесть о Светомире царевиче” Вяч. Иванова, позволило выявить многообразие их текстовых функций, а также мифопоэтические, символические и мистические аспекты литературных сновидений.

The article discusses the changes that have occurred in the ceremonies of the spirits cult in village communities of Vietnam during the COVID‑19 pandemic and offers a case study of General Đoàn Thượng’s (1181–1228) cult. I compare two ceremonies: commemoration of the General’s spirit in the temple in his native village in Hải Dương province on May 1, 2018 (my own fieldwork) and a closed ceremony in the same temple which were broadcasted on the Internet on April 8, 2020. The feast in honor of a rural spirit, previously the most popular village event, was reduced to a ceremony with offerings and prayers in front of the altar which was performed by the representatives of Đoàn clan. On the one hand, this version of the ceremony weakens the integration of the village community and eliminates such an important religious practice as pilgrimage. On the other hand, restrictive measures brought the ceremony closer to its traditional form: ordinary community members, women, tourists were excluded from participation in the rituals, while the Đoàn clan’s members directly communicated with the spirits, the way it is prescribed by tradition. THOMAS AQUINAS ON THE SEAL OF CONFESSION The teachings of St. Thomas Aquinas of secret confession played an important role in the formation of the institution of confession. There were common forms of public confession in earlier times, not involving secrecy. Only at the XII Ecumenical Council it was decided that all members of the Church should be required to carry out a secret confession once a year. The teaching of Thomas Aquinas marks the transition to individual confession, which requires intimacy. Thus, there forms a particular subjectivity of person, requiring an ability to analyze our own spiritual experiences and deeds. On the other hand it changes the subject to whom a confession addressed; if a collective confession is actually designed for the perception of other people, the secret confession addressed directly to God. When a person confesses publicly, he feels himself as a collective subject rather than an individual subject and often aware sinful of himself, even what he personally did not commit (the man who took a vow of celibacy, can confess in adultery). Also it makes a shift from the punishment and atonement to confession. Thomas Aquinas explores this problem in sections 15–22 of the fourth book of “Comments on the Sentences” from the penance (satisfactio, section 15), and to different part of repentance (section 17). To discuss the seal of the confession he addresses only the issue 3 of section 21. In the “Summa Theologica” issues of the repentance discussed in the “Supplement to Summa” Questions 1–28, part of which was composed by the Secretary Thomas Reginald of Piperno: sorrow (1–5), confession (6–11) penance (12–15), then who performs penance (16), the “keys” of repentance (17–27), and the ritual of penance (21). Thomas Aquinas supposed the confession of the penitent before the priest is some external act, a kind of sign of the internal act of repentance before God. But as soon as God hides the sins of those who repent to Him, it is necessary to remain the content of the confession hidden. Aquinas draws attention to the pragmatic dimension (utilitas) secrecy of the confession too: it encourages people to be free more to confess. Aquinas also discusses the numerous conflicts associated with the seal of confession. Does the obligation to keep the seal of confession to those who accidentally found out the content of the confession? Can a priest reveal the contents of the confession with the permission of the penitent? How to do with the case when the priest finds out in confession that someone is committed to heresy and is going to mislead people, or those who are going to get married, they are related by blood? How to do with the case of sin of the applicant to a high position in the church hierarchy? Also, there is a complex conflict between the fact that although the confession should be secret rituals of public penance: sin, causing harm to society, must be eliminated in public, but such a public punishment reveals the sins.

This publication – “Nativity of Christ: Let’s Lift Our Spirit Higher Than the Dust on Our Shoes!” – is an interview in which an overview analysis of the past political and church events in Bulgaria in 2024 is made. This publication also represents a biographical portrait of the interviewee and author of this article regarding the beginning and development of his professional activities. The following topics were discussed: the theological content of the Nativity of Christ holiday is clarified, the processes surrounding the election of the new patriarch of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church are followed, and the dynamic political situation in Bulgaria is analyzed. Short psychological portraits of the deceased patriarch Neophyte (1945-2024) and the new Daniil (b. 1972) were also made.
