Research has shown that modalities of technology research development are the qualitative and the quantitative projections of the management outcomes. Since there are enormous entities of development involve in the evolvement of results, therefore it must be stated clearly at the early stage what is expected of research. That is, hypothesis must exist. It has been made known that technology management research rests solely on the common awareness of its solitude. It is very importance to have innovative goals as to the disposal of the results. To develop a product is an important part of technology management research and preparedness of surviving in the society. Technology development research is part of sailing through life. The involvement of research is based on the philosophical ideologies of sociological, economical, psychological, and political stability in the society. The globalization of ethical prowess remained is an important aspect of research development in the society (Kejawa, 2014). The facts that technology research development is an important issue are surrounded by the ideologies of individualism (Kejawa, 2013)

It is widely recognized that global competitive strategies are increasingly becoming technology-driven in the context of extremely dynamic, high-velocity, and turbulent environments . Such a context of rapid technological change is obviously extremely risky. As a consequence, managers used to be advised by management of technology academics and practitioners to get a better understanding of the technologies they are implementing and developing and have a clear vision of the role of technology in their corporate strategy. The aim of this paper is to stress that, at the same time, they must also control the impact of technology on marketing, finance and human resources functions of the firm.

Despite the growing importance of "Technology Management" (TM) field in advanced countries since 1990s, it is rather new for developing countries such as Turkey. Considering the diversity of needs and concerns in different countries, the evolution of TM discipline can be expected to follow different paths to include different national experiences and to consider unique national needs and concerns in relation with technology management. Therefore, to what extent this diversity is reflected in the mainstream TM research agenda is an important issue. Thus, the aim of this study is in two folds; first, to examine how the general research characteristics and agenda of TM discipline have evolved in the academic research in Turkey, and next, to what extent they have converged or diverged with the patterns of mainstream TM research in international journals, by analyzing the TM articles published by Turkish academics both in the national and international scientific journals. The findings of this research reveal that the TM discipline in Turkey indicate both divergent and convergent characteristics when compared with the results of recent studies about developed and developing countries. In addition, a significant difference is observed about how these characteristics are reflected in national and international journals. Introduction: The increasing consideration of technology as the major factor for competitiveness of firms and nations, and the raising awareness both in industry and in academia about the necessity of bridging technology and with managerial approach (Weimer, 1991; Liyanage and Poon, 2003; Kocaoglu, 1994) have resulted in a significant increase in academic research and education on technology management 2 (TM) since the 1990s.

The main purpose of this paper is to understand whether the research of developing and developed countries in the technology management (TM) field converge or diverge in terms of topics, approaches, research focus, and methods. International trends are explored based on the comparison of developed and developing countries’ academia, conducted through a content analysis of the main TM journals over the period of 1995–2005. The analysis of a random sample of 325 articles indicates a clear differentiation of major topics studied by developing and developed country academics. The paper ends with a call for future studies to focus more on the particularities of developing countries in order to enrich the TM literature by increasing our understanding of TM theory and its applications in developing countries.

This paper's novelty come into surface by its focus on the meaning of Management of Technology, a term that reflects a specific managerial practice working at strategic, tactic and operational levels, whose theoretical foundations grants a dimension of a body of knowledge articulated in accordance to the managerial functions on which acts upon. Featuring a complex system of research methods articulated in accordance to the nature of the research' interest, Management of Technology construct (MOT) come into view as a single conceptual unit. Results presented here include MOT structural management functions' boundaries setting, the modelling of the Nomological Net in which the construct is implanted, and the interconnections with its observable operational techniques and practices. The paper's content contributes to gain understanding on the configuration of the theoretical net that gives to the Management of Technology construct its structural dimension, identified as the managerial essential functions that made the abstract idea visible through its observable practices.

Technology management (management of technology or MOT) requires an extensive spectrum of capabilities in operational environments ranging from research and development to financial affairs (services) marketing and every other traditional management activity. Technological management needs to have an interdisciplinary approach and therefore requires a collection of different disciplines. While traditional management disciplines are pursuing how to allocate resources, technological management is not forced to allocate resources. In fact, it aims to further access and dominate the formation of the effects of technological variables on a business. Our country is classified among developing countries and technology transfer is recommended as a shortcut for access to state-of-the-art technologies, providing that technology transfer actually happens and Indigenization of transferred technologies to be considered. The present study examines the effects of technology on innovation in Ahvaz ...
A literature review exercise was undertaken to identify the research issues in the area of Management of Technology.
