Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze “sinaloenses” labour paths, because of their importance on internal migration groups which have settled on Tijuana, Baja California region representing one of the most demographic and economic dynamism region of México and the whole world. The main purpose of this paper is to analyze labour conditions of mentioned population, particularly from 2005, when the intensified of sinaloense migration has been documented toward north of the border and the U.S. Through empiric data we analyze labour paths in Sinaloa and Tijuana, as well as social and family nets as facilitator elements of migration and labour insertion. We seek to compare labour and life conditions of people interviewed in both places. It requires to think about the relation between the lack of economic development of Sinaloa, which reflect into precarious employment conditions as well as insecurity and violence conditions, that generates a dynamic expulsion to Tijuana, where, based on migratory social nets, it
