We are doing our best that our efforts become traditional. This is one more chance to read about legal topics from the region and beyond. This year we have a new partner, the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. As in the previous years, we tried to encompass most of neighbouring countries from the region. Additionally, we have extended our reach this year to include South Africa, Bangladesh, and Mexico. This expansion was in response to the eagerness of our non-European colleagues to be involved in our venture. Since the previous conference, RLR collection of papers has been indexed in DOAJ, a widely recognized platform among scientific researchers in our region. Inclusion in DOAJ demonstrates our commitment to the best practices in open access publishing. In the coming years, we hope to include the collection of papers in several other research databases. For the second year, we are partnering with HeinOnline Law Journal Library. As every year, I would like to express my gratitude to the whole organizing crew for making yet another issue of the collection of papers possible, at the highest standards of editing and publishing. Besides the authors, my gratitude goes to our reviewers, all thirty-five of them, who did exceptional work during the summer months, which is always particularly challenging time of the year to perform tasks of this kind. Starting from the next year's edition, we will try to focus thematically on several important topics in the current law and practice. Despite many challenges in further development, I hope you will remain loyal contributors and readers in the years to come, all having in mind the joint aim of further improving the quality and visibility of our work.

The VI St. Petersburg International Legal Forum took place on May 18-21, 2016 in the State Hermitage General Staff Building. It gathered 3750 participants coming from 77 states. The “Kutafin University Law Review” enjoyed the prestigious status of an information partner of the Forum, and its representatives followed the insightful discussions on most pressing issues in the fields of law, politics, and economics.

Isaidat Law Review covers all aspects of comparative and transnational law. It is also dedicated to the neighbouring fields of legal anthropology, law and language, law and arts, law and the cognitive sciences, as well as to the dialogue between law and other disciplines. Articles are subject to double blind peer review. La linea editoriale della Isaidat Law Review coinvolge tutte le aree del diritto comparato e transnazionale. Accoglie inoltre articoli sui temi contigui dell'antropologia giuridica, sui rapporti tra lingua e diritto, diritto e arti, nonché sull'apporto delle scienze cognitive al diritto e, più in generale, sul dialogo tra il diritto e le altre discipline. I contributi che appaiono sulla rivista sono soggetti a una procedura di peer review a doppio cieco.

This book includes the abstracts of all the papers presented at the 6th Annual International Conference on Business, Law & Economics (6-9 May 2019), organized by the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER).

AIMS AND SCOPE: Journal of Legal Studies, a professional academic journal, published twice a year, commits itself to promoting the academic communication about laws of Romania and other countries, covers all sorts of researches on legal history, law rules, legal culture, legal theories, legal systems, questions, debate and discussion about law from the experts and scholars all over the world.

This book includes the abstracts of all the papers presented at the 4th Annual International Conference on Business, Law & Economics, 1-4 May 2017, organized by the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER). In total, 33 papers were submitted by 46 presenters, coming from 17 different countries (Albania, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, China, Croatia, France, Germany, India, Italy, Pakistan, Romania, Slovenia, South Africa, Turkey, UK and USA). The conference was organized into 12 sessions that included a variety of topic areas including international law and policy, business and education, management, neoliberal globalization, economic opportunity, and more. A full conference program can be found beginning on the next page. In accordance with ATINER’s Publication Policy, the papers presented during this conference will be considered for inclusion in one of ATINER’s many publications.

Journal of Legal Studies, a professional academic journal, published twice a year, commits itself to promoting the academic communication about laws of Romania and other countries, covers all sorts of researches on legal history, law rules, legal culture, legal theories, legal systems, questions, debate and discussion about law from the experts and scholars all over the world. OUR AIM: Although it has been issued for four years now, the Journal of Legal Studies aims to become a debate and research forum in the following areas of interest: international law, European law, comparative law, Romanian law, case law studies, scholarly books reviews, reviews of books on other areas related to law.

In total there were 31 papers, coming from 17 different countries (Australia, Austria, Brazil, Colombia, France, Lithuania, Mauritius, Mexico, Netherlands, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, and Turkey). The conference was organized into 9 sessions that included areas such as and other related fields of Business, Law and Economics. Given the ongoing Covid-19 related travel restrictions the conference was held in a hybrid format, being streamed online for those who could not join the conference venue in person. Unlike the conference events held in the past years, this conference has grown much more international. All the papers included in this volume passed a double-blind peer review successfully and were checked for their originality using the iThenticate software kindly provided by the University.
