Human life is a constant and persistent endeavor to discover the truth of life, to seek self-development and to attain a perfect freedom from the supra-natural forces that control existence and beyond. As Rishi Aurobindo puts it, "the individual is not merely a physical ephemeral creature, but a living power of eternal truth". Or as the Vedas and Upanishads declare, human life is a manifestation of the divine being in all its glory and truth. Human psychology is the most complete implementation of nature's psychic characteristics since the cycle of creation has begun. Hence, of all the creatures, it is the human alone that has the required physical, mental and metaphysical faculty of nature to rediscover the original nature, the truth from which life originated and that into which it subsumes. Humanity by and large, has attempted to do this introspection ever since its existence. The ancient-most surviving texts-the Vedas, show us that man has been on this soul-seeking mission persistently, along with his invention of the necessity such as the wheel, weapons, metals and the like.
“Human beings are the highest-evolved beings,” explains Shrii Shrii Anandamurti. “They possess clearly-reflected consciousness, and this makes them superior to animals. No other being has such a clear reflection of consciousness. Human beings can distinguish between good and bad with the help of their consciousness, and when in trouble they can find a way out, with its help. No one likes to live in misery and suffering, far less human beings, whose consciousness can find means of relief. Life without sorrow and suffering is a life of happiness and bliss, and that is what people desire. Everyone is in quest of happiness; in fact it is people’s nature to seek happiness. Now let us see what one does to achieve it and whether it is achieved by those means.” “The word dharma signifies ‘property’. The English word for it is ‘nature’, ‘characteristic’ or ‘property’. The nature of fire is to burn or produce heat. It is the characteristic or property of fire and is also termed the nature of fire. Similarly, the dharma or nature of a human being is to seek the Cosmic Entity.” Shrii Shrii Anandamurti (1921-1990), was a spiritual master and guru in the tradition of Shiva and Krishna, and founded the international socio-spiritual movement Ananda Marga (“the Path of Bliss”).

The Dharma is the part of Vedic heritage. Dharma is likely a natural concept. Foundation of dharma is humanity, reasonability and rationality in human conduct. Dharma is considered a secular concept as well. Dharma was placed above faith, belief and religion. At times dharma was recognized ‘sovereign of sovereigns’. It is because dharma was supreme or above all. The sovereign or the king has to perform their work as per the norm and values of dharma. The people too run their all affairs abiding by dharma even in the absence of nation, king, ruler and all. Indeed dharma is a dynamic concept. It is recognized differently in different times in line with dharma-chakra (circle of dharma)
The thought of Dharma is part and parcel of Indian Culture. Being one of the four Purusharthas, it is capable of upholding and integrating the whole society. Among the great concepts and doctrines, the basic principles and directives of Hinduism, Dharma stands out pre-eminent, with a vast, deep and pervasive significance of its own. The concept of Dharma is vast and vide. It is a Sanskrit expression of widest import. There is no corresponding word in any other language. Dharma is the lifeforce of the society, like 'Prana' in an individual. Any state or institution or even society or an individual cannot exist without Dharma. Those who believe in discrimination, in effect, don't practice Dharma. They never attain real happiness.

ABSTRAC THE DHARMA, INDIA ETHICS A human being in a group or a society is called to learn with a Dharmic Guide or Ethical Guide, to cultivate to live with a Character or Éthos of the Personality or the Second Nature of Aristotle, with their habits, customs, behaviors and Moral Ethical norms of the group or society, for the purpose of an organized, cooperative life, coexistence, feelings of equity, justice, respect, with a Universal Ethics, for a System of Life, with good Survival, and Purposes of Well Being or of happiness. With moral-ethical guidelines, for actions, facts and their abstentions. Very briefly we examine the Dharma of Hinduism, which bears a resemblance to the Greek Ethic origin word of our civilization. The Ethical Guide must guide the Éthos or Character, The dharma of Hinduism has originated from its philosophical inclination, with strong influence and guidance for the personality with its moral standards, at all levels of its people, and occupies the first place among its goals.
American anthropologist, Robert Redfield writes that, "style of life" as used here, includes the way of getting a living in so far as these contribute to the shaping of ideas of the good life. The term emphasizes the judgments, implicit or explicit or expressed, as to what right conduct is (1953, 61). Today, we are living in a conflicting world and loosing harmony of individual and social living. This paper explains that DHARMA and religion is not the same thing as MANDIRA (temple) is not like a Hindu Church. DHARMA, therefore, is a way of life than mere faith in God. DHARMA in Indian society, explains this right conduct for human being, and it means one that upholds the universe, the discipline or the code of conduct for the people.
“What a miserable and helpless condition people are in when they have to lower their heads in fear before sinners, and adharma triumphs over dharma! They can do nothing under such circumstances. Under such awful circumstances, Parama Puruśa (the Supreme Consciousness personified) Himself has to come and take stern measures. In order to save humankind from such an extreme situation, Parama Puruśa will certainly have to do something,” explains Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar. “Hence in order to annihilate evil-doers and restore dharma, Parama Puruśa showers His special grace and compassion. This special effort is necessary because the place of dharma is above all else; its importance is greater than that of anything else.” “So you must under all circumstances give first priority and primary importance to dharma. Victory is assured to those who put dharma above everything else. Under no circumstances can they be defeated. Never have they been, nor are they now, nor will they be in future.” P. R. Sarkar (1921-1990) was a dharma guru in the tradition of Shiva and Krishna. Among many other contributions, he introduced the empowered universal spiritual mantra “Baba Nam Kevalam”, composed a collection of 5018 spiritual songs called Prabháta Saḿgiita, and founded the socio-spiritual movement Ananda Marga (“the Path of Bliss”).
