This research plans to establish and contrast the main differences of the Paul Romer model of the statute cities and model cities in Honduras by considering the variables proposed in the model and the implementation in Honduras, showing the parameters that were followed. It is important to know about this issue since these actions were carried out in the period of the coup in 2009 and has been developing in a way until today. In addition, it mentions the variables for a sustainable economic growth that a country must follow to develop its economy. On the other hand, the research method is the case study that reveals the details and allows to contrast in a more correct way both positions and both dynamics.
