Josep Pijoan and a pair of letters about the publication of the posthumous works of Verdaguer. In the first half of the 20th century, Josep Pijoan i Soteras, who was in a country house in Montseny, wrote a preface for the edition of Colom, seguit de Tenerife, by Jacint Verdaguer. In 1903, while Josep Pijoan was in Italy, he received a pair of letters from Ramon Turró, one of the executors of Verdaguer’s will, which dealt with the economic and other problems in publishing the posthumous works of Jacint Verdaguer.
