A Meeting in Lascaux in times of pandemic Capitalistic system has shown his faults. The nowadays pandemic leaves us the duty to rebuild our symbolic webs. This paper attempts to suggest in the footsteps of Georges Bataille and his thoughts on the origin of humanity to take account of what is essential to human being. Above all, we should reconsider death in our world view; then it is necessary to realize the existence of links with the rest of the world. Finally, we should find a new balance between our desire and its repression also rethinking the importance of play and un-useful activities.
