I try to catch its tint in my cup, to taste its calm, but its inkiness spills over me until I am glass. Bathed in owl-light, I float on short blue wavelengths. I cannot be broken.

I am imbued with the notion that a Muse is necessarily a dead woman, inaccessible or absent; that the poetic structure-like the canon, which is only a hole surrounded by steel-can be based only on what one does not have; and that ultimately one can write only to fill a void or at the least to situate, in relation to the most lucid part of ourselves, the place where this incommensurable abyss yawns within us.-Michel Leiris, Manhood Our bodies communicate. I enter.-Virginia Woolf, The Waves
Asean Eu Cultural Festival , 2022
From social to environmental transformation, the curatorial essay for the exhibition "Butterflies count not months but moments, and have enough time" brings together artistic perspectives from the young generation of EU and ASEAN artists on the idea of nature as a site of environmental and philosophical imagination to question the very notion of sustainability in terms of circular economy and in relation to cultural belonging. Do we identify with our environment? Is the environment simply the place we live in, or also the place we leave behind? Does the term ‘sustainability’ resonate equally in different parts of the world or is it tinted by cultural and social beliefs and behaviours?
