Notas morfológico dialectales a dos fragmentos de Safo

In this paper we are going to receive several nineteenth-century Castilian translations of Sappho that have gone unnoticed in translation history, because they are inserted in the work of other Greek authors, or they appear published in the ephemeral pages of old newspapers. Thus, firstly, we are going to review the nineteenth-century translations of the treatise On the Sublime by Pseudo-Longinus, where the well-known frag. 31 («Ode to a Loved One») is included. Secondly, we will analyze the translations of seven poems by the poet from Lesbos that Pedro Bandres published in the Cadiz newspaper El Progreso in September 1870.

En 2014 se publicaron fragmentos de nueve poemas de Safo, uno de ellos, el poema de los hermanos, de 20 versos, totalmente desconocido. De otro, el de Cipris, apenas se conocían unas palabras. El resto de fragmentos sirven para completar estrofas de otros poemas ya conocidos, en especial el 16, el 17 y el 5 Voigt. Ofrezco una pequeña introducción sobre la publicación, el texto griego de los poemas con las propuestas de diferentes estudiosos, traducción al español, notas y bibliografía.

S'investiguen en Curial e Güelfa aquells elements de la morfologia verbal flexional que estaven subjectes a variació i canvi durant l' Edat Mitjana, i especialment durant el segle xv. El text manifesta alhora fenòmens conservadors i innovadors, a més de trets típics d'una obra literària, probablement valenciana, de vora 1450. * Ens complau atribuir a la ponència de Joaquim Martí Mestre al II Encontre Curial e Güelfa (capítol 00 d'aquest llibre) l'estímul d'investigar la importància morfològica de la variació <-a-> ~ <-e-> en síl•laba final àtona (§ 4.5). Així mateix volem agrair-li els comentaris que ens ha ofert sobre un esbós d'aquella secció. 1. A part d'uns quants casos del subjuntiu en-o que observem als Sermons de Sant vicent Ferrer. In the scarce texts we have of the comic writer Epicharm, 6th-5th centuries B.C., and the mimographer Sophron, 5th century B.C., both of them of Syracuse, there are attested to different notations to reflect the hiatuses /eo/ and /eɔː/ , the same in the two authors . Specifically, for /eo/ we find four different spellings <εο> <εου> <ευ> and <ου>, while /eɔː/ is spelt as <εω> and <ω>. In this paper I will attempt to give an explanation to the diversity of spellings in the two authors; a complex problem in which, as I shall try to show, phonics, spelling and textual transmission have participated

El kari'ña carece de una documentación detallada sobre las operaciones que ocurren durante la transformación de las bases nominales. Esto ha dificultado precisar algunas funciones comunicativas concernientes a la sistematización de la morfología nominal. Este trabajo describe los procesos derivativos que afectan las bases nominales del kari'ña. También, se presenta información sobre el comportamiento morfosintáctico de las frases nominales en la lengua. Existen diferentes tipos de sufijos derivativos: (a) nominalizaciones deverbales, (b) nominalizaciones deposposicionales, (c) verbalizaciones denominales y otro que denominaremos (d) varia. Se nota una tendencia dominante de emplear sufijos para modificar la base nominal. Por ejemplo, atto 'casa', atto-po 'en la casa'; mürejti 'muchacho', mürejti-shon 'muchachos'. Se espera que estos hallazgos conduzcan al un mejor entendimiento de las funciones asociadas a las frases nominales.

Modelo de regresión logística binaria para el diagnóstico morfológico de lesiones por virus del papiloma humano (VPH) en la boca Usefulness of Toki's morphological criteria for the diagnosis of oral lesions caused by human papillomavirus Background: Oral lesions caused by human papillomavirus (HPV), share morphological features which may complicate their diagnosis. Aim: To analyze the usefulness of Toki's morphological criteria for the diagnosis of HPV lesions in cervix, in the diagnosis of oral lesions. Materials and Methods: Retrospective study of 355 oral lesions by HPV. The pathologic evaluation was carried out three times by the same examiner with a Kappa coefficient of 0.780 (p = 0.01). Toki's criteria scored the presence of acanthosis as 1, dyskeratosis as 1, koilocytosis as 4, basilar hyperplasia as 1, bi or multinucleated cells as 2 and papillomatosis as 1. The information was analyzed using c 2 and binary logistic regression. Results: Fifty eight percent of cases (207) corresponded to Verruca Vulgaris (VV), 23% (80) to Multifocal Epithelial Hyperplasia (MEH), and 19% (68) to Condyloma Acuminatum (CA). According to Toki's criteria, 76/80 MEH lesions, 195/207 of VV and 67/68 of CA, had a score equal or greater than six. A logistic regression showed that dyskeratosis suggests the presence of MEH. The presence of acanthosis and dyskeratosis in HPV oral lesions are not useful criteria for the diagnosis of VV. No significant associations with CA were found. Conclusions: The morphological criteria studied do not predict their possible viral etiology and do not allow a differential diagnosis of the lesions. Therefore, polymerase chain reaction studies are required to identify high-risk HPVs or sexually transmitted viral lesions. (Rev Med Chile 2012; 140: 1028-1034.

This paper examines two verbal forms on a Cypriot epigram from Golgoi (CEG 868). First, the author argues that we-i-se-se = 2 nd sg. subj. ϝείσης (= Att. εἴπῃς) represents a particular Cypriot evolution of the voiceless labiovelar *kw in a palatalizing environment. Second, previous morphological and phonological interpretations of the unexpected scansion of ku-me-re-na-i = 3 rd pl. pr. ind. κυμέρναhι (= Att. κυβερνῶσι) are rejected and a more likely metrical explanation is provided.
