Last two decades of art history in Pakistan provide the evidence of the creative efforts by the young generation of artists who experimented in the field of miniature painting. They expanded its vocabulary and scope. They have been presenting the modern socio-political ideas through traditional practices of Miniature art. The young lot of miniature painters endows with a unique set of minds through their innovative neominiature painting movement which is turning global with the passage of time. Among the miniaturists Mudassar Manzoor is presenting a distinctive style of miniature painting. His paintings present a personal narrative under the layer of mystic and surreal ambience. This article explains autobiographical details and description of his paintings.
