Abstract

La questione dalmata e gli internati di Nocera Umbra Dalmatian question and Nocera Umbra's internees In March 1919 Nocera Umbra hosted 13 Dalmatian internees removed from their homes by the Italian governor Millo. Summarizing the history of Dalmatia, the author focuses on three topics: i) the crisis of the Italian component during the Nineteenth century; ii) the Yugoslavian project before the World War I, and iii) the conflicts between Italy and the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovens during the post-war period. Among the prisoners in Nocera, the figure of Miloš Parenta (+ 1943) did stand out. He was Serbian Orthodox priest, writer and theologian, author of important works on apologetics and politics.
