Опасное (само)просвещение: И. Кант и М. Мендельсон

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the correlation of Immanuel Kant’s and Moses Mendelssohn’s positions concerning the nature of enlightenment. The author argues that Kant in his interpretation focuses on the self-enlightenment which eliminates any external guidance, while Moses Mendelssohn insists on necessity of enlightener/guardian. The author distinguishes two extremes of enlightenment marked as «französische Alfanzerei» and «deutsche Schwärmerei».
