La Acústica en el Dominio de la Frecuencia

The present paper will try to deal with the processing and interpretation of the transformed domain of frequency. An acoustic signal in time can be seen as a signal in the frequency domain just to make your Fourier transform. This change will be more complex the more complex the signal. Once you have the frequency spectrum of the signal, you can evaluate and process everything you want. An example would be, in an acoustic measurement, the interpretation of the insulation level of a material at different frequencies, i. e. which frequencies of the signal spectrum are better absorbed, and on the contrary which frequencies are worse isolated. These frequencies are usually seen as frequency groupings, in the so-called frequency bands, since it is not usual to analyze each frequency individually. Ultimately, an example of digital filtering and processing of an audio file in the MATLAB® program will be made.
